based. He was very good, and I'd like to have seen another scene or two of him. I like Hopkins' lecter a lot too though.

Hopkins was better in Silence but Cox in Manhunter was better than Hopkins in Red Dragon. That could just be the script though, Lecter's role in Red Dragon is pretty brief, Cox might've done a better job it he'd had more than two scenes.
