>When Bonnie buys coffee, she buys shit. When i drink coffee, I want to taste it.

Shitty segway line from a shitty actor, but what are you going to do? He's the writer and the director so he calls the shots. However... what better actor would /tv/ have cast for Jimmy to have been 1000x's more epic a scene?
>>
if his wife was coming home from work then why did he tell Samuel L Jackson to come to his house

just starts splerging out going "erm EXCUSE ME do you see a sign that says Dead Nigger Storage"
>>
>>220169702
Another anon mentioned that Jimmy was maybe meant for Steve Buscemi and he wasn't able to do it for whatever reason and I sort of believe him. Tim Roth in The Hateful Eight seemed like a reworked Christoph Waltz character too.

it's 'segue' you illiterate retard

Child toe suckin Tarantino.
>>

Well excuuuuuuiiuuse me!

At least i knew the context for the word
>>
Why was he so worried about Bonnie seeing a dead body? She was a part of Fox Force Five. She’s seen some shit.
>>
>>220169702
the scene added literally nothing to the movie, if i''m being honest. Dana Carvey might have been able to make something out of it.
>>
>>220169803
Steve Buscemi couldn't do it because Samuel Jackson never gave him permission to use the N word
>>
me. Also, good coffee made correctly is indeed worth a few extra dollars.
>>
>>220169803
Roth was acting like Ted the bellboy, nothing like Shultz.
>>
>>220169702
How similar he looks to George Clooney is amazing. Sometimes you think they were separated as children.
>>
>>220169803
>Another anon mentioned that Jimmy was maybe meant for Steve Buscemi
This role was written for Eric Stoltz.

Only coffee idiots think this.
I'm in Australia and this place is fucking full of coffee idiots who pay absurd amounts of money for their shitty sour mudwater.
>>
>>220169702
I STILL think of that line and repeat it in my head. I think that makes it good. The scene is great because he's so worried about divorce, and coffee, and old sheets, and not a dead person.

They should have casted Timothee Chalamet to play Jimmy.

Marty Mouser yelling about Dead Nigger Storage would actually be kino.
>>
The phrase "can't act" is really overused, but Tarantino truly can't act, it's almost impressive

Damn, that nigga was born to miss out on roles.
>>
>>220174347
Why? He played a different role. Tarantino decided to switch their roles. I thought everyone knew that.
>>
>>220169702
>low iq take

The reason this scene is so iconic and memorable is BECAUSE it's tarantino. I don't think many could have sold this type of character like tarantino did. Yes, tarantino is generally not a good actor, but in this specific scene/role he was well suited. And the line is very memorable and still quoted to this day, because it's interesting, original and good. NOONE else other than tarantino would have written a scene like this, that makes it special.
>>
>>220169702
The entire set-up and dialog sounds like it was written for Steve Buscemi. Especially if you picture him doing that snarky cadence from Reservoir Dogs.

>>220174875
I’m genuinely not sure if this is bait or not but you’re a retard either way.
>>
>>220169702
When I first watched I was convinced he wrote the entire scene so he could say "nigger" and "dead nigger storage". Maybe it's because he can't act or can't write but it always comes across as his way of getting to say nigger on screen.
>>
He made Django Unchained and the blowjob scene in Hateful Eight as an apology for Pulp Fiction.

Are you not satisfied yet?

Remember when Eric Stoltz was a big fucking star. He was an icon of American independent cinema, and everyone wanted him in their movie. Even Spielberg. I still don’t know what happened to him. Did he step on someone’s toes?

I buy the cheapest shit because I enjoy the coffee scented sugar water and not bitter-sour mixture coffee snobs like

Paul Dano would have been perfect

>>
>>220169702
Is there anything more hacky than casting yourself in your own movie / show and using it as an excuse to do stuff you would never have the opportunity to do in real life.
>>
Just delete the scene.
>>
>>220175132
He is a retard who got his big break starring in Back to the Future and insisted on method acting and playing his role as a sad 80s goth on this mainstream Hollywood comedic family movie.

>They can't fire me

Niggers fucked his mom on the daily and he had to listen to all of it from the other room, so he represses his loathing for them by worshipping them in his movies, while ocasionally saying nigger on-screen to blow off some steam. There is a weird logic to it. If you read his shitty book of essays on 70s cinema, you realise just how much these black stepdads influenced him and his outlook.

zendaya and she'd say "looks like im daddy now"
>>

>if his wife was coming home from work then why did he tell Samuel L Jackson to come to his house
He didn't. Jackson made the decision to go there because it was the closest spot where they could hide out for a minute. They've obviously just woken him up and now he's pissed off that he has to deal with it.
>>
>>220174102
Same, Nescafe Gold with shit tons of milk is all you need. Also coffee is strictly a fucking breakfast drink. You want coffee any time after 11 am then it's fucking ice coffee. And none of that fancy shit, gimmie a fucking Nippys or Ice Break (Dare can suck shit).

Dennis Hopper would have been funny I guess, he would have played Jimmy way more caffeinated lmao
>>
>>220175094
He is transracial. If skin color change operation had existed he would become black in blink of an eye. You can listen to his old interview when he try to speak to black people as he is one of them. It comes off as extremely cringe

>I want to start my day by drinking mud water that also burns off my tastebuds, and leaves me feeling jittery instead of energetic

I will never understand coffeefags. I swear it’s an “Emperor’s New Clothes” situation. My dad drank water and black coffee his entire adult life, and died of cancer at 61, so don’t give me that health spiel either.
>>
>>220169702
I could never really figure out this character. He's not afraid to talk shit to dangerous man like Jules, but he seems like a complete loser. How does he even know Jules anyway? He's actually a former criminal himself, and I only perceive him as a pathetic retard because Quentin is playing him?
>>
>>220177564
I don't think it was him who knew Jules. It was more likely Jules who knew him. Jules knew a lot of people. Maybe they used to hang out together. Maybe Jules introduced him to his woman, since she's black too. Who knows.

Every Tarantino role he plays in was meant for Clooney, or in other words as Tarantula is writing that’s who he envisions himself as in his head playing the character. He’s totally gay for him and it would actually be a great cameo in 9/10 films it occurs.
>>
>>220177780
>Every Tarantino role he plays in was meant for Clooney
That makes sense. They look almost identical.
