I’m not blaming Shanks’ VA for that, even though I felt like Murphy hard carried the show. It to me just feels like they really cranked up the edginess and weirdness in some attempt to put-wacky Aqua Teen or something. Around the point when Sharko showed up and became a semi-regular speaking character.My favorite episodes are the early ones where not a lot is happening, so they had to get creative, like the one where they’re trying to catch a thief, and Murphy declares “Martian Law”, or when Murphy is pinned beneath a soda machine for a year while the rest of the crew worked as roadies for MC Chris, or when they let locking themselves in a storage closet one after the other, or when Murphy is lost driving a golf cart around trying to find the pro shop.
