It was quite possibly “not actually true”, or at least it might have been a setup.
There was a documentary on TV at one point that mentioned Geraldo or his producers staging some of these incidents, were guests went ape shit.
I don’t know if this specific episode was one that was mentioned, but I saw one that was mentioned, and the guest started similar behavior to the “skinheads” on this episode, before the guest was escorted out by security.
In that episode, I knew one of the people being interviewed, and that person was unaware that the person who started the shit was being paid to start shit.
In this interview, it would not surprise me if the skinheads were simply paid to act like outrageous “skinheads”, and maybe throw a chair, and the black guy was unaware about the setup, which then resulted in the clusterfuck.
