ITT: Post absolute dogshit film/tv adaptions of stuff you like

The jack reacher movie with Tom Cruise. I never read the books and had no expectations for how the character was supposed to look.
>>
>>220205266
>dogshit film
>first jack reacher movie
neck yourself gay faggot
>>

Way to promote positivity, buddy.

What adaption disappointed you? Or are you too scared to show your feelings? This is a safe space, you pussy. Answer me!
>>
>>220205319
if you think jack reacher was a dogshit movie you're a gay faggot
>What adaption disappointed you?
too many to list. watchmen, for starters.
>>
>>220205468
>watchmen
I liked it. I have never read the comics.
>>
>>220205468
That wasn't me. I was just trying to help get OP's gay ass thread going.

All I can think of is that I hated Uncharted (film) with a passion.
>>
>>220205490
you're a fucking retard. is the OP or the first reply?
>ITT: Post absolute dogshit film/tv adaptions of stuff you like
>durrrr i never read the books and had no expectations
so you can't use that to answer the OP you dumb fucking nigger. and your opinion on watchmen in this context doesn't matter either. no wonder you have ready any of this stuff. you can't fucking read.
>>
>>220205503
>>220205515
OP you gonna take this shit?!
>>
>>220205252
This movie actually pretty decent, it's just that it's not really a max payne movie at the end of the day, a lot of weird choices.
>>
>>220205252
This made me seethe pretty hard.

>cinematography was too dark, and the bluish grey tone made everything look like CGI
>acting was over the top to the point where it was laughable
>faithfully stuck to the original as if we needed a by-the-numbers Nosferatu
>the vampire looked ridiculous
>even Dafoe's performance sucked ass

Was honestly one of the worst films I've ever seen. Not a single redeeming quality.
>>
I thought it was fun.
>>
Bay's Transformers and Snyder's Watchmen are probably the worst offenders

I actually liked the Bumblebee movie though

Also preemptively nominating Villeneuve's Bond movie when it comes out

It´s true, all of it. It´s as if people that praise this had never seen Coppola´s Dracula or something. But ok, say not all movies can be masterpieces or whatever... I would say even the last voyage of the Demeter or heck, even Penny Dreadful were better than this.

I have ready many stuffs. you can't proofread.
>>
>>220205266
Agreed. Im sure the books are different and the TV is more popular, but the Cruise movies were well made and entertaining.

I don’t know much about the original Lone Ranger IP, but the buddy comedy remake was pretty good. Maybe I’m just a sucker for cheesy westerns.

Sandman...

The only discussion I've ever seen about the films is that Tom Cruise is too short to play reacher. I have no idea how tall reacher is in the books but I like the movies too.

It’s my generations version of Van Helsing and I liked it
>>
>>220206153
Apparently the TV show is the correct depiction, absolute wall of beef. I just can’t stand the show because it’s non stop white knight power fantasy. Maybe that’s how the books are, but either way is pretty bad.
>>
>>220206175
the tv show in unwatchable garbage. and that roided monkey is not jack reacher. he acts like a reddit frat boy.
tom cruise embodied jack reacher. i'd also argue that tom cruise had a bigger physical presence on screen than the tv actor even being a manlet. it is easy to overlook cruise being way shorter than the literal height of the character. such a stupid take.
