Chris Nolan's Odyssey reportedly has an AI Concept conceit sort of like Assassin's Creed. That is why the costuming looks unconventional.

>still doing damage control
>>
>>220207645
I'm just glad Hans Zimmer won't be drowning the film in his godawful music.
>>
The movie seems to be doing a CU with Inception and Tenet.
>>
>>220207785
Well aren't you special snowflake
>>
>>220207875
Nolan is supposedly really going for it with this movie.
>>
>>220207785
Ahh yes, some rat faced Swede that copies Hans Zimmer's music is much better!
>>
>>220207645
>it looks like shit on purpose
>>
>>220208820
This is Christopher Nolan we're talking about. You're crazy if you don't think he has at least a 40% chance of making a decent blockbuster out of combining The Odyssey and AI Concept.
>>
>>220208924
Chris Nolan doing an AI C version of Odyssey? I can't see how it wouldn't be good.
>>
>>220207645
Cool, still not seeing it and I hope whatever it is is gay and retarded.
>>
>>220209815
Your girlfriend will make you go. Oh wait...
>>
>>220207645
didn't they say that it will have multiple timelines?
>>
>>220207645
>big twist
yeah Telemachus reveals he was always a suitor
>>
>>220207645
The worst cast of any movie only cucked ameribrowns would watch this
>>
>>220210555
Yep supposedly you have a future version going AI C. Sort of interesting to see Nolan doing a loose CU.
>>
Nolan is distinct as a director.
>>
>>220210722
>CU

Huh?
>>
>>220212154
Cinematic Universe
>>
>>220207645
if anyone could make something like that work it’s nolan.
>>
>>220207785
Just when I thought I had seen every contrarian opinion possible.
>>
what the fuck is an AI Concept conceit
>>
>>220213204
the implication is that the ancient greece parts of the film are happening in a computer simulation, or possibly time travel, etc, and that this film is part of the same scifi cinematic universe as tenet and inception.
>>
>>220213602
Nolan going nuts with directing is something that it just seems obvious people want to see.
>>
>>220213602
That’s silly. The story itself involves teleportation, different planets, time travel and Demi gods. Time itself doesn’t flow in a linear fashion in the story. The journey for them is 7 years but 10 passes for everyone else. Yes if he does it following the story there will be weird time traveling and warping shit, one place time will flow backwards, sideways or slow
The story itself is an acid trip
>>
>>220214741
Also…
Some actors and Nolan have hinted they are linked
Inception is first in a world falling apart as energy reserves run out and people start going into chemical comas to stay alive
In tenet shits really hitting the fan as people are digging up nukes for power and getting time travel started as people in high towers on earth watch it die to escape the blight interstellar as they escape earth
>>
Its kind of weird how it contains so many characters that aren't even major parts of the Odyssey like Agamemnon
>>
>>220213071
His scores tend to be overbearing and awkward imo
>>
>>220213602
That won't happen but it's the only way to make this remotely interesting
>>
>>220214951
not really dumbfuck parroted redddit opinion of the day faggot consesus manufacturer
>>
>>220214887
It is crazy watching Nolan do a CU in this way.
>>
>>220214990
Lol I think this bot is glitching
>>
>>220210597
What are some kinos we can look forward to from your shithole?
>>

>>
>>220208820
except it looks fucking awesome do you eyes not work?
>>
>>220214887
>Inception is first in a world falling apart as energy reserves run out and people start going into chemical comas to stay alive
This is never mentioned at all in the movie
>>
>>220207645
>>220214991
Literally all OP had to say was that Cris Nolan’s the odyssey was connected to inception. Drives the point across faster.
>>
>>220215332
God you're a dipshit.
>>
>>220215367
Shut the fuck up bitch
>>
>>220215387

>>

>Nolan's Odyssey has a big twist

yes

It's woke dei esg af

Although the number of blacks in the whole of ancient greece and italy totaled around one-twenty-fourth of one percent, the role of several white characters have been given to black actors. Not asian, not latino, not slavic, not mediterannean, no arab, not polynesian, no. Black. Once again. Always black.

It is simply not believable nor credible. It is forced far-left woke dei esg ideology.

>>220215233
I'm sorry I said a mean thing about your favorite film composer, anon. Now take your meds and stop projecting.
>>
>>220207645
I hope there's a 30 minute of a bunch of soldiers running a train on Lupita
>>
>>220215419
you're not even talking to the same person who replied to you dipshit
no one here likes you and you stand out like a sore thumb with your constant repetitive, mentaly unwell inane horseshit
>>

omg like I'm totally hurt by this, I mean how will ever recover from such an insult, 4chan is serious business and i'm here to make friends 4 lyfe, so I definitely don't wanna piss off a janny who's gangstalking me like weirdo... uhh I mean like a totally cool guy who's really going places in life.

:)
>>
The twist is Homer's book wasn't real
>>
>>220207645
This is great and all but will we at least be able to understand the dialogue without needing subtitles??
>>
>>220216315
I've never had a problem hearing or understanding the dialogue in any of his films ever, I genuinely get werided out when I constantly see this non-opinion stated ad nasuem
like do all of you people wear glasses and have hearing problems, like are you al THAT much of literal untermensch?
>>
This movie is taking Nolan to the next level.
>>
It just seems like one of those movies only Nolan could do.
>>
>>220218482
Nolan is fascinating because he just goes so high on Concept.
>>
You have to wonder if there is symbolism in the film for Nolan's own odyssey as a film maker.

>>
>>220207645
That’s kinda cool. Like a simulation theory like DEVs and Westworld maybe

Why does OP keep saying "AI Concept " and capitalizing Concept is he Indian or mentally ill

>Nolan was an inch away from directing TROY back in 2004
Has anyone ever heard him talk about that experience? I think it would've been amazing but it also would've scuttled his career trajectory very fast.
>>
>>220223400
What has he said about that? Troy is pretty cool. It’s hard to imagine a young Nolan directing it
>>
>>220223400
I kinda like how Troy turned out. I don't think Nolan was right for it at that point in his career. He was still very much a disruptor and historical epics were making a bit of a comeback in the 2000s. Shame it never really worked out.

>>
>>220223438
No idea, just learned about it recently so he must've opted to say as little as possible about it, even after his career got launched with the TDK trilogy and Inception. He must not like Peterson's version much if he decided to use an all-new cast for The Odyssey. Honestly if he had made The Odyssey with Sean Bean in the 2010's it would've been amazing.
>>
>>220223588
An all white cast of the odyssey would be dope as fuck
