What movies were you forced to watch in school?
>>
Rudy.
Remember the Titans.
An Inconvenient Truth if you consider that a movie.
>>
For me, it was DEAD POETS SOCIETY. 90s female teachers really loved that movie to death.
>>
Actually I watched pretty good films at school like The Name of the Rose or Paths of Glory.
Then at a class I had the chance to pick a movie and it was Ali G in da House
>>
>>220211339
A Clockwork Orange
>>
>>220211339
We watched this exclusively during our afterschool care in elementary school but I remember literally nothing about them since I was sleepy and just wallowing in misery about how shitty it was that I had to stay at school waiting for my mom to get off of work while the rich chadlets got picked up by their parents.

>>220211339
>Stand and Deliver
>Lou Diamond Phillips is sitting
Now I'm not gonna watch your liar movie
>>

Where I'm from we had a religious class which was mostly about watching movies, and it was great.
I saw Gattaca thanks to one of our teachers

My one English teacher had us watch thr 68 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. We were his first class of the day and were the only ones who got to see Olivia Hussey's 16 year old titties. I guess he hadn't realized she would have them out.

It's not that cool. Imagine going to a bookstore and the book covers are filled with vague half synopsis's that are awkwardly trying to lead you on

>Hamlet
>Were those visions of his father truly so
>A prince perhaps dethroned and turned mad
>The dubious Uncle now King
>His daughter in love with Hamlet, possibly tearing the two apart
> To be or not to be
>>

As part of what we were learning, I remember watching the DiCaprio Romeo and Juliet, Holes, Of Mice and Men, Boy in Striped Pyjamas, and Shrek.
I can't remember much of what we watched in primary school. Definitely watched Labyrinth.

it's about a crack baby and our insane hippy health teacher showed it to us as a kind of scared straight exercise. we all laughed at it and she was so asshurt that she then sat silently at her desk for the next 3 classes before taking sick leave and never coming back.
>>
Dead Man Walking for a debate about the death penalty in RE
Gattaca in biology class
the Baz Luhrmann Romeo+Juliet
As Good As It Gets for psychology as Jack Nicholson’s character had OCD
>>
At the end of the year my Latin teacher showed us Gladiator. There's a part where a character complains about his "eunuch giraffes" or something not mating properly. My teacher asked aloud, "Does that actually happen?"
>>
>>220214092
>schindler
teacher put it to a vote and we went for the pianist. can't remember the other holocaust movies. she had a grocery bin full of them.
>>
>>220213977

I saw this many times through high school because I speedran the math curriculum and took AP Calc senior year
our school had exactly two math-related VHS' for the last day of the semester/year
-Stand and Deliver
-Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land
it became an inside joke among me and the other kids who were taking all these math classes
>>
In retrospect this was pretty accurate
>>
