Most young men play video games or watch old tv shows
Modern tv shows are made for women

It's a mixed blessing how shit movies and TV have become over the past decade plus
I've been using this vacuum to revisit the ye olde archives of the old gold shit I missed the first time around
Lots of B-movies, new blu-ray restorations of said B-movies, and TV shows that aired on cable during the years my parents couldn't afford it

Isn't fair to say social media ruined everything? Even now, in this very thread, we're using social media.
>>

It's social media but it's not Jewish social media. Jewish social media like myspace/facebook/instagram was specifically designed to exploit people's narcissitic tendencies and to reduce the white birthrate so that whites would become the new Jews, the smallest group of people on earth that the Jews can rule over instead of the other way around.

in the past movies were also primarily for the benefit of women. Only part that benefited men was there occasionally being charismatic personalities to download.

Maybe I'm just out of touch but nothing takes me straight out of any form of fiction than seeing a smartphone. To me smartphones are a strictly real-world hell concept that I don't want to see anywhere in my escapism.

I'm sure the screen writers lost their ability to write due to the existence of social media.

I think Steven Seagal had a big impact on my dad, to this day he still thinks a leather jacket and jeans is the coolest thing ever.

Unironically yeah.

>aspiring writer
>spends 6 hours a day doomscrolling
>brain trained for 280 character dunks and reaction gifs
>tries to write a third act
>“and then… uhhh… this is where the discourse happens?”

It’s not that Twitter cast a spell and stole their talent, it’s that everyone’s attention span is fried and studios want scripts that feel like a group chat. Characters don’t talk, they “post.” Conflict isn’t resolved, it trends for a week.

You can literally see the moment a scene was written to be clipped and shared instead of watched.
