The Naked Gun movies are the only comedies that have remained consistently funny to me since I saw them as a kid.

Shrek 2, in the cinema, specifically. Most I ever laughed at a film ever, it was a packed crowd so it was infectious, and it's a very rapid fire kind of comedy. I'm sure I would still laugh at stuff in it now but I'm happy with that memory.
>>
sometimes it's the company.
I remember me and a buddy snuck into the theater to watch one of the Ice Age movies, the one with the dinosaurs.
We laughed so hard during the whole movie that we almost pissed ourselves.

Seeing Airplane for the first time as a kid, I nearly passed out I was laughing so hard.

Had a similar experience with the first Naked Gun and Hot Shots movies.

And surprisingly seeing American Psycho on mushrooms as a teenager brought out some belly laughs, though to this day I still find it very funny.

>Honorable mentions

Top Secret!
Billy Madison
The Big Lebowski
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
The Man with Two Brains

and that scene where he tumbles down the mountainside in Hot Rod.

Probably The Naked Gun. Its unrelentingly stupid and just constantly assaults you with jokes.

superbad, and it's because the comedy and humor come off as entirely unintentional like they're just talking and getting into shit
I feel like most comedy fails at this aspect of keeping it casual so that it doesn't come across as needy for your laughter
>>
intellectual humor from clever writing, wordplay, and requires brainpower to unlock the sophisticated nuances > crass and obscene toilet that relies heavily on profanity and degeneracy (jewish humor) > slap stick
