Feels better knowing that he could've gotten literally any job when he was young in the 80s, bought a house for $30,000 and have it be worth half a million today, but he actively chose to live that way.
>>
>>220252588
He would've been referencing things 22 years before 2004 in 1982 and he would've needed to be at least in high school to be talking about football so he was at least 38. That's bare minimum if he's talking about a failed college career he'd be in his early 40s.
>>
How much you wanna make a bet I could throw a football over them mountains?

I'm 33, but I have a friend like that. Only talks about High School stuff, never really moved on despite all of us moving past him. He didn't go to college or anything, kind of stayed back dealing and it's just sad at this point.

I still talk to him if I see him outside, but it's just depressing, it's basically "remember when" and then when I pivot to something like "Hey anything new" he really doesn't have anything to say. And it's not like I had the perfect post high school life either, but damn nigga, you gotta move away from that shit after a while.

>Hey anything new
only thing worse than a nostalgiafag is a noveltyfag. Do you really need to be entertained by his life choices or lack thereof? why not assume either/or and push the conversation to telling him something new if you must.
>>
>>220249944
Why are you posting vertical phone shit, OP?

Both you kids are wrong.

Where do you even get a goofy workout suit like that?

I had a game that haunts me. Final quarter, only needed a kick to win, four chances and coach didnt put me in, it was easy, I could make the kick from halfway even further if I had a good run up and it wasnt even halfway away.
“Too risky, we’re close we need to run it.” I could have made it. We had time.
They shut down every pass and run we made and we lost by a point.
I made that kick a thousand times since and it doesnt matter.
Uncle Rico was completely justified in obsessing over his last game.
If you know you know.

I still think about a starcraft 2 game I lost 12 years ago
