Does this guy ever get any more motivation besides FUCK BELTERS (justified)? So far he's a really entertaining character but he feels more shallow than the villains from the previous 3 seasons. The aspect ratio changing every 5 seconds is also very annoying
He's just a shallow strawman in a pro immigration propaganda piece what do you think?
>>220255997i have angry brown woman fatigue
>>220256013So far the show has felt like it represents every side fairly enough to not come across like I'm being preached to, but I guess this might be the beginning of the end of that
>>220255997You are a bastard... A daughter fuckin tranny bastard
>>220255997Why would he need more depth? He just watched his team get murdered by skinnies, hes a perfect villian
>>220255997>muh deep villain
>>220256068From the first episode you should have dropped this Reddit show.
>>220255997The show story is following the books. The book character is a bully and psychopath. Amos is the one to call out his motivations correctly since Amos has seen plenty like him. Murtry took that job because he greatly enjoys having power over people, subjugating them, and using deadly force when they disobey. While on that far away planet, he is the ultimate law and arbiter of justice. He decides who lives and dies. What punishments are given out. If anyone has a problem with that, they can send out a message and maybe get some answer a year later after they're long dead. That's a good enough motivation and a job like that could reasonably be assumed to draw people such as him. He's supposed to be there for the forseeable future acting as top dog with little to no oversight.
>>220255997>>220256353He also stared down into the void, totally uncertain of whether or not he would survive. He’s a different man than he was a week prior. He has severe PTSD and there’s nothing holding him back anymore.
