Seemed underbaked like they needed about 10 more writers and 12 more weeks
Shane is a lot less funny now that he’s famous. Doesn’t have the Jewish chutzpah to keep doing his brand of humor with a wider audience. You can tell he clearly cares what people think of him and is conscious of his impact.
Vs guys like Larry David who just don’t give a shit and want to make something funny. Helps that Larry knows his coethnics will never truly knife him in the back if he says the wrong thing.

I think he's just adjusting to the normie audience for wider reach, which obviously translates into more money. In the early days of the podcast both he and Matt were talking pretty openly about their willingness to sell out for money. They never pretended to have any principles

The length of the show hurts it. Too few episodes and the episodes are maybe too short. Like everything is being rushed through. You only sort of feel the camaraderie because they tell you it's there. They need some filler episodes where literally nothing happens and they're just bullshitting around the shop the whole time. Literally just do one of their podcasts while working on cars.
