Your hero is no hero.If you don't follow Christ's teachings you may be an atheist, but if your thoughts and actions opposes Christ's life message, then you're acting like an antichrist.
And you're in no position to judge either. Following Jesus's message is the most difficult thing you can do because there is no immediate reward for it and not even any guaranteed reward later either. If we try to judge human beings objectively then either everyone is evil because everyone could do more and chooses not to, or nobody is because nobody asked for the life they were given. Both of these answers will break you down over time if you genuinely try to hold them consistently despite the fact that they are both true. We are tiny, weak little things and it is likely that we will all suffer unnecessarily because we literally cannot help ourselves. But no matter what you do I will forgive you because I know you are like me, and I know I gain nothing but pain by holding you accountable for your ignorance which is also just like mine.
