Is this show worth it?
Just a warning, it’s not all based on horror comics. Some stories are from the Two Fisted Tales, and Crime.
Yeah. It's fun
fun factcrypt keeper has Chucky's eyes
There are lots of bad episodes, and those are usually the more comedic ones, because they're not funny. It can be lazily repetitive: too many episodes are about a love triangle that leads to murder, and too many resolve in a murder victim returning from the grave to take revenge. I'd say watch it, but don't hesitate to skip the shitty episodes where they appear.Interestingly, there's an episode directed by Schwarzenegger, and he appears in the intro segment alongside with the Crypt Keeper.
>>220269657Didn't the show kinda go downhill by 1994?
>>220269681I haven't got that far yet. But I can tell you that after a strong and short first season, the longer second season was about 30% duds.
>>220268546only if you take it in the ass
>>220268546If you like the idea of Goosebumps but for adults then yes.But be warned; most episodes are tongue-in-cheek or even outright comedic than straight up horror. That doesn't mean those episodes are bad though.
>>220270509faggot opinion and tales came first, idiot. fuck that horror for babies shit
>>220269657>There are lots of bad episodesNo there aren't.
>>220268546Worth what?
>>220268546It has cutie 3.14s
it's actually a great comedy series with a lot of great actors from the late 80s early 90s. The twists are sort of predictable if you're not 10 years old, though. The love potion episodes become very repetitive.

What do you mean? Its free
>>220268546I collect all this shit and I love it. Classic show. Perversions of Science is mostly good too.
>>220273857worth watching retard
>>220268546The OG anthology horror series and still the absolute GOAT, so yes
some of the episodes are just so totally kick ass
>>220272106You're gay.
i like it and shows resembling the format so much that few things really compare. it's why treehouse of horror/are you afraid of the dark/goosebumps/outer limits/twilight zone always hit for me

>>220268546Absolutely. The terrible acting and 90s editing just makes it even better as time passes by.
I only watched the lumberjack episode and it was unparalleled kino. What other episodes are as good?
>>220275076That episode is pure kino. The jealous husband later went on to be the general in The Fifth Element.
>>220268546It's one of those shows that I love the idea of, but outside the Crypt Keeper segments, I get bored fairly quickly.
>>220268546I got a new car last October, so I had Sirius XM for free for three months. I was listening to Turbo on Halloween night, which is basically the station for 90s/00s metal, and they had John Kassir on in-character as the Crypt Keeper as a guest DJ. That was kind of a cool touch.
>>220269681I can tell you personally, the final season is nearly unwatchable, I say nearly because the final episode is really fun and its just an R-rated animated adaptation of The Three Little Pigs. It's the only season I don't own on DVD (I bought them all individually at a Sams Club.)
>>220275076You Murderer-which was kinda cool for having Humphrey Bogart as the protagonist even though he was already long dead by then
>>220275574That felt like Zemeckis working out the facial tech for Forrest Gump.
>>220268546It's worth it for the boils and ghouls.
The show is very weirdly comfy even during the bad episodes
