Wop slop died with The Sopranos and isn't likely going to get any semblance of a revival any time soon for the cinema or television. Its more or less going to go the way of the western after Scorcese kicks it. Maybe a glimmer of a resurgence can happen with the Mafia games getting a revival here, but its doubtful.
