Resident Evil movies used to look really good. They were bold, striking, and each film changed up the look and feel. The new RE movie is different again, but it's different in a bad way. It looks generic. It's shot by the guy who did The Crow, Dark City, the Pirates films and it is so dimly lit the trailer thumbnail has been brightened in post.
