Decent found footage horror movie recs?Recently watched Hell House LLC and it was ok I guess. Had some potential but hit a double when the movie needed a home run. I have no fucking clue how this started a franchise, the 2nd and 3rd are horrible and I didn't waste my time on the 4th.
Horror in the high desert. Its about some fag who disappears in the desert. Its slow and dull as fuck but the ending is grade S.
i really like savageland and grave encounters is fun
Blair Witch Project is the grandfather of this genre. Sinister is pretty good although it's the character finding the footage and showing it to the audience.
>>220272806I'd argue Cannibal Holocaust is the grandfather
>>220272311Its good. The main character was a bit autistic too.

Couldn't understand any of the love for Hell House. Looked good in trailers but was very uninteresting overall. BWP, The Last Broadcast, and REC get brought up the most for a reason and that's because they're the best (though personally I could have done without the last 10 minutes of Last Broadcast).Grave Encounters and Cloverfield are worth checking out. The VHS series has highs and lows in each installment, but generally they're pretty fun. WNUF Halloween Special isn't quite as funny as I feel like it should have been, but it's not bad.
