AN F-5?
>>220275151That's a Mig-28, though.
>>220275100People said she wasn't hot anymore in this, but that was intentional, they tried to make her boring with that hair and styling. Give her big curls back and she'd upstage Helen Hunt way too much.
>>220275270she was hot though
Don’t they laugh at her when she asks this? Why did they laugh? There is an f-5
>>220275100My favorite (E)F5 is the 1999 Bridge Creek one. Still firmly in the top 5 of all time and that footage of the tornado with the DOW trucks looking directly into the funnel is verifiably kino.
>>220275100i remember someone posting a webm of a tiny moment in this movie where her jacket comes open and you see she has pretty big tiddies. i think that was the most we've seen of them in her career, even though she dresses the most conservative in this movie
>>220276282No, they drop their forks at the shocking question
>>220276282they don't like talking about an F-5 because it's so dangerous and the reason how Helen Hunt's dad died, which lead to her forming the chaser crew
>>220275100I never realized how beautiful she is in this movie.
>>220275182Like a G6
>>220275100>react with shocked silence even though it's not only a logical question given there's F1-4 classification but also because a classification is just that, and not something to be spoken of in hushed tones like it's a tangible villain
>>220276282No they all do a comically exaggerated shocked dramatic silence, we must not speak of the forbidden 'nado
>>220276838>they don't like talking about an F-5 because it's so dangerousThat sounds like a GREAT reason to talk about if you have a layman there who doesn't know your stormchasing lingo.
>>220276744>>220276838>>220277043Oh ok I must remembering a different scene because I haven’t watched this in years
>>220275100>There's no F-5, Just an Alt F-4And then the conversation shut down
Tornadoes are kino
>>220277018kind of realistic, the scale classifies based on disaster damage and f5 is catastrophic. like mythical disasters still discussed after millenia.
>>220275100
Would the equivalent scene be them describing the force of an earthquake on the Richter scale from 1.0 to 8.0 then being asked if it goes over 9.0 and being hushed and shocked by the question?
>>220277312
>>220275100The tornado is so big that when you see it, you’ll say Fuck five times.
The is entire film is bizarre in hindsight >the overly detailed and delicious looking breakfast >everyone being afraid to mention an F-5 because the scientist woman’s dad died from one>the therapist answering calls during a storm chasing event>Bill Paxton getting mad at the other storm chasers for being more interested in money than “the science” (even though he uses “””instinct””” to chase tornadoes.)
>>220277526nothing bizarre about food porn, very little else to do in the midwest.
>>220277526>“the science” (even though he uses “””instinct”””When I heard the learn'd astronomer,When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them,When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,Till rising and gliding out I wander'd off by myself,In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,Look'd up in perfect silence at the stars.By the by, can you stop typing those jeet quote marks? Use a real English keyboard on English websites, please.
For me, it's waterspouts. They just look so mystical. If one appears, there's definitely a dragon involved.
Saw it again for the first time since probably the 90s a year or two back, the script is genuinely hilariously awful. Paxton as the protagonist is an absolute weasel you have zero sympathy for, and every interaction is so cornball. But...the special effects really are tremendous. A CG funnel or two are dodgy but the practical effects are just superb, the nighttime tornado scene in particular. It's fun, dumb as it is. The final tornado literally changes paths to chase them like a villain at the end, it's great.
>>220275100WHY DON'T YOU PUT HER IN CHARGE
IT'S ALREADY HERE
They never explained why the needed the data from the tornado
>>220277886we still to this day shoot sensors into tornadoes to better model them
>>220277748that shit does look awesome like you could ride up in the middle all the way to the clouds and swim with the birds brother
>>220275100https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v075d9Vfqcg
>>220277526>He sold out to the MAN, man! He got SPONSORS and now he has SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT! Big Stormchase is putting the little stormguy out of business!
Twisters was actually better than this. Less cheesy, and a lot more tornado action.
>>220277926>Stormchasing: brought to you by Comcast
>>220275151Based, came to make this joke.Deep dives into the Freedom Fighter & Tiger 2!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2lAtsEkFnwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvgpD9L7FIQ
>>220277748What happens to the water that gets sucked up? Does it fall on another area or turn into clouds and rain the next day?
>yes we were all talking about seasons 1-4 of family guy but asking about season five? her mother was RAPED while watching season 5 you heartless bitch! how dare you try to learn more about your partner's main interest
Why is Twister the perfect movie to have on in the background while doing spring cleaning?
>>220278083its got good energy, makes you want to get off your ass. i think dante's peak is superior as a film but storm chasing is way more fucking awesome in general.
>puts raw eggs on steak while cookingAmerimutts don’t actually do this right?
theoretically speaking, if you layed down flat on your back with a boner and some chords tying you down could a tornado suck you off?
>>220278144Beats a cigarette and coffee or whatever eurofags are eating for breakfasts
>>220278162it would implode your balls, thats how houses and stuff get fucked by tornadoes is the implosion.
I just don't think steak is a good breakfast food. It makes you logy.
>>220278205but wouldn't imploding your balls squeeze out the gravy, thus making you 'get off'?
>>220278239that or your testes would shoot out your dick hole
>>220278144Not a sear on that steak.
>>220278635You bake the steak in the cast iron skillet before you put it on the stove.
>>220275100She married some rich guy and she's now the richest female actress in the world
There's an F5 up my ASS!
>>220277303
>my family was KILLED by an F5!Why do they treat a classification of a storm level like it's a living creatue?
>>220280370pretty sure the tornado (it's the same one appearing throughout the movie) chased them at some point
>>220278928Based.
>>220275100i could see her play an evil-ish character today. In a movie some alphabet agency head. In a TV series, a defining role like part of a crime empire. Whats her name and what is she known for? General themes. good character or bad character. Op i dont know why you started this thread but i somrtimes source actors faces to put a face on a fictional character i'm writing. She would fit perfect in something I'm writing. The process of writing fiction.
>>220275270She was still hot I used to watch that sitcom she was on in the early 2000s. I watched all the sitcoms with hot mom daughter combos like George Lopez
>>220275100I'd like to F her 5, if you know what I mean.
>>220278144What retard cooks the eggs and steak in the same pan not to mention cracking ur eggs when ur meat is still rare
>>220277526You forgot >kino soundtrack>kino 80's/90's vehicles >main character must choose between two hotties: sexy girlboss city slicker, or the stomchasing tomboy
