I live in Japan and there is no context lost beyond haha they fell down. The modern version was just the same but also celebrities thrown in (more).

MXC is 100x funnier for its commentary.

Just like Ghost Stories anime. No it wasnt some flop like some retards say, but the english dub made it hilarious.

For both, im generally against doing such dubs, but i also allow it if its done well and the original isnt that great to begin with. "dont. but if youre gonna, you better nail it" and they did.
that said i dont trust any modern writers to do such a thing well
