People hated this movie in the 90s? I just finished it. It was a ton of fun and amazing world building. The plot wasn’t mind blowing but the sets were impressive and the movie was fun.

The movie is pleasantly bland, fun action. But they lost control of the story when it ran into huge production problems and the budget exploded.
