Watched it as a teen when it aired and thought it was the greatest thing ever. Rewatching it now, it's still kino, well paced but also pretty retarded.
>>220324852WORST ENDING OF ALL TIME
>>220324852 Most kino scene in the showhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LOSgRRXkX0
>>220324906Dr. Who's accent was the worst part of the show
>>220324852Margaret Qualley is cute but thats all this boring ass show has going for it. The only think I remember is that woman getting bricked in the face. Didnt bother with season 2 or 3. I know that the ending doesnt explain what happened so why bother.
>>220325297Season 2 is kino, season 3 is a mixed bag even though it does have the best scene in the series >>220324906
>>220325297she was supposed to get her own episode in season 3 but they had to cut a couple episodes so every character couldn't get their own episode.
>>220324852This is the first show a lot of people watch where the plot itself doesn't matter in the slightest. People that can't handle it bounce off, but the ones that have some capacity to see will be able to, and from it find a whole range of media now in their reach that they never would have even considered before. It's the best kind of gateway show. I think it's even better at it than Twin Peaks, because it's not associated with a famous director or actor or anything, so people can feel more like they're in on something, or discovering it for themseleves.
>>220324852I never got it.I absolutely love misery porn, but this did nothing for me. Even 10+ years later, I don't think it deserves a second chance.Spoil me: did it have some kind of ending? Not like a cosmic one, but just something that left actual fans happy?
>>220325902If you're not a midwit, you'll probably really like the ambiguity / pathetic nature of the ending.

>>220325902the show is about how some things don't have answers, and you have to cope with that. It's basically Lindelof's response to how fans treated the ending of LOST
>>220326083>the show is about how some things don't have answers, and you have to cope with that.Me and everyone got that from the very first episode when it first aired. It's not THAT deepI was just saying that even following it for about a season, it didn't get my misery porn cock hard.I remember it being meandering. In the wrong kind of way.
>>220326083>the show is about how some things don't have answers, and you have to cope with that. It's basically Lindelof's response to how fans treated the ending of LOSTDavid Lynch could tell that story. Lindelof can't tell any story, and apparently wrote a whole series to seethe about fans 'not getting it', when it was his own misrepresentation, serial lies and bad writing that built the expectation that Lost was thought through and plotted out. It wasn't, nothing made sense, and the ending was a rushed piece of shit to sprint to the finish. He's literally mad about a problem he created, and then continued to make the same issue out of every project he was assigned to.
I remember being on /tv/ when the final season of Lost aired. Good times.I remember posters just wanting to lynch Lindelof
>>220324852Kino. Literally me.
