Why were the sequels so sexless?I get the "force is female" crowd didn't want objectification, but I've never known a single woman to take issue with Padme's outfits for instance. If it were made a bit later, or had some prescience, I think a Rhea Ripley esque actress playing a seductive femme fatale Darth Talon could have gotten over huge with men and women. I mean Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad was 2016 so during the same time as the Sequel trilogy. They cast Daisy Ridley who men blow their loads to just for her face, and just did nothing with her to use her sex appeal. Not even any tummy.
