Here, her ferocity proved her worthy of being one of the primary protagonists. I especially loved the way epic battles kicked up the adrenaline by using sound cues that fans of the franchise will recognize, amplifying the adrenaline. I got goosebumps three times due to the sound alone! Johnny Cage and Baraka were excellent additions to the cast, and the writers have restored my faith in their ability to deliver characterization, humour and camp alongside the lore that defines the Mortal Kombat series.I especially loved the ending where Kitana defeats Shao Kahn and becomes ruler of a free Edenia. Along with Raiden , Sonya , Johnny, Jade, and a resurrected Kano, she vows to protect Earthrealm and Edenia from any incoming threats (Shang and Quan are still out there, but specific threats are not named. Also, Liu Kang has ascended to presumed godhood).I want more!
