It was of its time but I was surprised to find out it lasted until 2020. I thought it ended in 2016. But that being said, I remember the show was great because Tosh was a good host who was great at being an asshole yet completely fine at being the butt of jokes, especially gay ones. So many gay ones. Plus, since he was from Florida, his humor stuck with other southerners like me.

rob dyrdek said that his show ridiculousness was more successful than tosh.0 basically by the sheer volume of episodes he was able to lazily produce. I'm not sure how well the higher ups of comedy TV on /tv/ feel about either shows but it seems like almost no one except hyper normies even care about ridiculousness. tosh.0 is old by today's standards and for whatever reason Viacom refuses to reair tosh.0 but only a portion of /tv/ gave a fuck about this show.
