Tales from The Crypt - Now Screaming Editionprevious: >>220327662
>>220349267Hello, wagie bros. That pissman was mocking me for making $100k, which desu isn’t even middle class in major cities. What should I put on tonight? Preferably a good horror from the 1970’s?
Hokum bros?
>Hi /hor/, hope you liked Ready or Not 2!
>>220349312Stop talking about yourself for once, brown freak.
>>220349329I will watch this when it hits streaming but I am not exactly looking forward to it.
>>220349312>he's given up even trying to bait
>>220349342milk truk just arrive
>>220349267I just finished watching Carrion Death.Someone post some screenshots or videos from the Shudder episodes; I wanna see what the quality is like.
>>220349329>The climax of the movie was the murderer getting pulled in and killed by hokums final smash What a letdown
>>220349342See I'm not gay, but those boobs are too fat
>>220349419Meds. Discuss horror and stop causing arguments. He was asking for a movie recommendation.
>>220349342Should I even bother with this?I turned off the first one in 15 minutes.
>>220349459Watched the first three episodes last night and I'll watch some more tonight. I dislike AI upscaling but it wasn't noticable and thought the quality was decent. I'll post some comparison screenshots later
>>220349488film yourself jumping off a bridge and then watch that
Backrooms coming end of May. Take a guess now - big success or bomb?
>>220349590I think it will make its money back, but not a penny more
>>220349598woah...
>>220349342Damn, Samara should be kept permanently pregnant (by me)>>220349598Unironically a lot more fun than Ready or Not 2 and I do love SamarahAt least it constantly delivers kills and funReady 2 suffers from the same fate of the first, only the conclusion is really fun, at least they kill more than just the help now.But still, it felt too... mid, unlike They Vill Kill You, although the ending is a lot better in Ready 2.The fact it takes Samarah almost 1h in to even fucking use a gun and truly start defending herself (despite already experience that shit before in her wedding) is boring, and the sister bonding moments are fucking nonsense in a "you're being hunted by literal psycho devil worshippers" scenario
>>220349480>I'm not gay, >but those boobs are too fat
>>220349590Probably big success by virtue of internet popularity alone like Five Nights at Krueger's
>>220349590Casting a negro is box office strike one, if if it gets bad reviews it'll struggle
>>220349775This. I was actually interested in the movie until I saw the negro in the poster.
>>220349551I’d rather watch Your Cuck Tapes.
It unironically feels like nuHorror, especially low budget Horror has decayed so much that the fucking men are looking more attractive than the women
>>220349695so they will kill you was alright?
Howzat?!
>>220350323It's really well directed. Some of it reminded me of 90's Peter Jackson
>>220350323>>220350415Yes, if you like Tarantino horror complete with a scene of the main character having her feet lickedwith a splash of 90's Peter Jackson that doesn't take itself seriouslyVery fast paced too which is niceMy main issue with Ready or Not 2 is how bland it felt mostly. They Will Kill You at least feels like they tried and some of the scenes are great and stand out amidst current horror, pity it flopped.Hopefully it takes off on streaming
>>220350342Adeline was gorgeous in Do Not Enter so I imagine she's good as Kitana. Also Dredd 2 when
>>220350449>My main issue with Ready or Not 2 is how bland it felt mostly. They should have taken a more wild swing with this. It's quite literally the same movie as part 1. The ending is fucking hilarious tho
>>220350483Yeah, the ending is the best part like the first movie and it surpasses the first when it comes to that. But like you said I don't see why they didn't go crazy with this one when it was a sequelOnly the laundry machine death felt fun
>>220350242Females never naturally looked attractive.
>>220350555That could be a good ice breaker line when you tell your parents you're gay.
>>220350415>>220350449never would have checked it out otherwise but I'll give it a shot. thanks.
>>220349342
>>220349342I never saw the first one and wasn't planning on watching the sequel, but holy milk. Shame about the lip filler though>>220350449>a splash of 90's Peter JacksonI guess I will have to give this movie a chance then
>>220349480>>220350242>>220350555>not gay, bro
>>220349267You now remember Tales From The Crypt: Ritual aka the forgotten TFTC movie.
>>220350483A movie with a 30 year old female as the main character is never a good sign.
>>220350739I don't but that webm is convincing
>>220349329Just saw it tonight. Pretty fun. Leaned in on the King gimmicks just a bit too hard, ending felt unsatisfying, but was generally solid and fun. Couple memorable shots that I really liked and all the characters were fantastic. Not that scary. I enjoyed it.
I watched Caveat tonight and I liked it
Ok, I am officially retarded, I tried to watch Succubus 2024 but ended up watching a different Succubus 2024 instead. This one was made by a Russian director with a Russian cast, but everything is English language. The dialogue is awkward, the line delivery is awkward, the film itself was just ok but had its moments. Honestly for the first hour or so this was unintentionally hilarious due to the script and performances. Then it starts to drag a bit but the ending is pretty good.
>>220332755nta but I had nightmares of the Zuni doll from trilogy of terror 2 for literal years as a kid. looking it up it's funny that show was aired on USA network. the nightmares finally stopped when I killed it in a dream which I think is kind of neat.
>>220350739I remember the naked women, yes
>>220351342Which one was this? Part : Jason Rocks? I watched all those movies in rapid succession at one point so they all sort of blur together in my mind.
>>220349342Holy mother of titties
So what's so good about this Obssession?
>>220350739I 'member
>>220351590So old
>>220351094Kek, another victim of this marketing tactic.
>>220351680How prevalent is this tactic? I know Italian filmmakers used to produce cheaper versions of popular American films etc. but beyond that I don't know.
>>220351700There's two Dashcams (2021) and I remember they were moaning about it being a ploy
>>220351342I remember that the first girl to be killed in that movie (AKA the one who got naked) showed up in the DVD extras and had a mini interview, no idea if she was the only actress they could get for that, but she seemed really happy about it
She doesn’t want to marry a betamale
>>220349342I did enjoy it, but the actual horror aspect is pretty slim compared to the first one. 2 is just pure action
Just finished. Stumbled across this, from 1912 it's apparently the oldest movie labeled horror they have on Tubi. Only twelve minutes long. It's cute and dorky, and Hyde's two big crimes appear to be tripping a little girl and slapping around a minister, kek
>>220353025>tripping a little girl and slapping around a ministertruly vile
>>220353025>tripping a little girlTruly a monster
>>220353025For a second, I thought that was my guy Harry Carey
>>220350739How have I never seen this. I fucking loved this show as a kid.
>>220353591kek comedy gold
This is gonna be nuts. Rhea Ripley will be in Terrifer 4
>>220353591I like his style, lolAlso big tree holes are an underutilized source of comedy
>>220353720Not surprising, he already had Fozzy Man, must be a wrestling fan
>>220353720I wish she'd punch my balls
>>220353720damn, girl's got shoulders
>>220351086On my end, I watched Oddity. Although I liked it, I felt like the story was the kind of thing I normally associate with anthology horror shorts, so it felt like it shouldn't have been a full length movie.I'll watch Caveat soon, and Hokum possibly tomorrow
>>220353932Hokum is an improvement on the formula of Oddity, but his approach comes from all the horror shorts he became known for originally on youtube.Caveat I think is his most filmy film.
Ok time for the rest of season 1 of Tales
>>220349459>mfw I learn about Firefox DRM for the first timeCan't even take a damn screenshot anon.
>>220353987You mean SCREAMson wuhAHHHHHHHHHHHHnBOO!
>>220349459I take it back, FF has a built in screenshot tool that bypasses it.
God help me
>>220351361Jason takes Manhattan or more actually Jason take a schooner then wanders around New York for 10-15 minutes
>>220353720>Terrifier is a horror franchise for no-taste retards>wrestling is a "sport" for no-taste retardsIt's like poetry.
Just finished. I liked this a lot! A real hidden gem from 1929 that feels like a silent version of Nothing But Trouble (but much less disturbing, of course.) A bored millionaire plans to travel to Africa for adventure but gets delayed when he's kidnapped over a grapefruit sized emerald he's inherited. The movie is all set in a labyrinthine mansion filled with cultists and weirdos presided over by a Fu Manchu type simply named Satan. It seems to be a comedy but there really aren't jokes outside of the main character looking baffled whenever some new weird shit happens. It's got dragon ladies, really hairy dudes, gorillas, midgets, you name it. I couldn't believe I guessed the ending really early, it's the same as The Game's. It's only an hour long and by the same director as Haxan.
>>220355124I saw a movie about the female star of this starring Loni Anderson once.
>>220355124And oh yeah, Angelo Rossito is in this, he's was Master Blaster in Thunderdome 50 years later!
>>220350415>>220350449My brother told me this was good, but I don't usually trust his judgement. He's the type that only watches horror around Halloween time, plus he's a full-on libtard, like someone who laughs at Charlie Kirk getting shot jokes.
>>220355124Sounds kino. But mainly has reminded me to download Haxan right now.
can you feel it /hor/, the power of halloween is rising
Just wanna say RIP to the GOAT horror movie podcast, Zac Amico's Midnight Spookshow. It's not ending but because of the recent shit with YouTube, it's making it hard for them to upload the movies without a bunch of BS so now they're exclusively only uploading the new episodes to GaS Digital. I know you're all as disappointed as me but we'll survive.
>>220356170I'm all for anything that makes Zac Amico's life worse, fat ugly little zit dicked faggot
>>220349342>modern slop>>220349459>modern slop>>220349590>modern meme slop>>220349598>modern slop>>220351094>modern slop>>220351342>the worst oneWhat the fuck happened to these threads? Like seriously, what the fuck happened? Is this the result of NOT making these exclusive seasonal threads?
Shut the fuck up you dumb bitch, no one cares what you think.
>>220356221newfag
Harpertard's here being a schizo again
>>220356210Yeah there's not a single interesting thing being discussed in this entire thread. Not a single movie I'm interested in or even anything that puts me in the horror spirit. It's just a shit thread
>>220356347I really didn't think it was him being like that for the longest time, but he dropped a 'gremjeet' in some post unironically and I realized yeah, he's the one ruining most of the threads.
>>220356221you can really sense their suffering as they try and inflict it on others. mmm, salty tears.
>>220356170I thought for sure this was announcing he had died
>>220356437Zac is the type of guy I imagine dying the same way David Carradine did.
>>220356459>there was no suicide note and he was found with a rope tied to both his neck and his genitalsDamn, he hung himself and his balls. A double suicide.
>>220351311I wonder if kids are more scared of entities that are little things. I know that I was scared of critters.
For anyone thinking of watching Fierce Killer Marsupial, don't. Or do. It's your internet dime.Comes off like a sequel to Our Trip To Berribrook (which it isn't but sure seems like it) but blows it's load with the reveal early and then kind of meanders around like they didn't know what to do afterwards. There's a twist but it's not justified by the rest of the movie. Not funny enough for a comedy and not spooky enough for a horror.
>>220356572You can't just make up fake movie names like that, anon, at least put a little effort into making them make sens-ACK!!
>>220349267I guess I’ll be waiting for the high quality series torrent then. I’ve been done with Shudder ever since they sent me that email in 2020 holding the hat out for BLM donations as cities burned. Same with HBO Max.
>>220356210I have seen every horror movie ever made so of course I must resort to modern sloppa.
>>220356598kek did not know that. I think a lot of orgs are just embarrassed about that stuff now
>>220356631nta but I know this to be untrue because there's a movie I've checked on letterboxd that only I and the director have, and that ain't you monkey boi
>>220356631>tfw you will never marathon horrors with your fat monkey buddywhy even eat bananas
>>220356671>implying a based monkey would use envelopeboxd
Vampirella is one of my favourite so bad it's good movies. Mostly because it's hilarious to watch Roger Daltrey running around making a complete ass of himself while thinking he's cool as fuck.
>>220357045I assume you like Tommy then
>>220353657Because some releases removed the Cryptkeeper bookends.
Quick rundown of what I watched just now:>Re/memberHalf supernatural horror movie, half high school shit. Is it good? It's somewhere in that 4.5-5.5 territory. I'd give a 5.5/10, so I did like it just enough. This is mainly because I liked the lore, the Red Person was good enough, and Emily at the end was awesome.>Re/member: The Last Night3 years after the first, another Body Search game takes place. It's more of the same as the first, but the game takes a back seat to filling out the history of it. If you like the first, you'll probably like this one.>Betty's RevengeActing? Bad. Dialog? Shit. Pacing? Shit. Effects? Bad. It's still better than most of the PD horror that has come out of the UK, which honestly says a lot & and is very sad.
>>220356347>>220356386Even when I'm dead asleep, you still won't shut up about me kek>he dropped a 'gremjeet' in some post unironically and I realized yeah, he's the one ruining most of the threads. What's wrong with using that word? Multiple posters do. How new are you to be this shocked that I of all people wish that looney toon was permabanned; it's well-documented at this point.
>>220357803they are trying to bait you, ignore them
>>220358087True, some people are just bitchin' machines I guess.Anyways I'm finally watching Frankenhooker later which should be fun after seeing it posted here for ages. I've never really gotten into Henenlotter, unfortunately.
>>220358231Well it's pure kino so have fun. After that I would watch Brain Damage if I were (you).
https://youtu.be/QxRnnMe3HmA
>>220356210>Carrion Death>an episode of Tales from the Crypt from 30 years ago>modern slopPlease fuck off, poseur.
>>220354662Looks bad.
a couple days ago I asked which Miike's flick I should watch after Ichi, Gozu, Imprint & Audition. I can't recall what anon replied, but I'll write it down this time
>>220358702I wasn't that anon but after those the logical choice would be Visitor Q.
>>220355912what horror for the kino decay & entropy of November
>>220358721Ah shit I knew there was one that I forgot to mention
>>220358728I've barely seen any Lucio Fulci, only The Beyond and one other movie, but I instantly recognised that as a Lucio Fulci style zombie, I wonder how.
>>220349267I love Demi Moore
>>220358595>After that I would watch Brain Damage if I were (you). My local Alamo screened Brain Damage once a couple years back but I saw something else instead… for shame. Appreciate the rec anon, I'll make sure to check it out soon after.
>216 minutes long>"reduced cut"lol what the hell
>>220359218The movie is boring, so the documentary is going to suck too.
>>220359239>The movie is boringBeyong that, and I love ffs
>>220359189>but I saw something else insteadThe grim face of death staring back at you from your monitor screen, schizo?
>>220357803You know that when you make a spectacle of yourself people notice right? To me you're basically the same as the Baskin Roberts faggot. If you were a namefag I would've filtered you a long time ago. I would think somebody would've gotten you banned for avatarfagging by this point but who knows how that works. In any case, when somebody's thinking about you because of how much they wish you would go away, that's not a good thing.
>>220359740>To me you're basically the same as the Baskin Roberts faggot.I've never liked that guy and had plenty of run-ins with him but please, keep kvetching over nothing.
>>220359218>ff
>>220360206I am 100% sure there's no way to help you if you look at that image and think that it makes you look anything besides pathetic. Anyone else would've been embarrassed to have others see that, but you saved it and posted it yourself. You're WAY more similar to that guy than you think you are.
>>220354183i believe you can bypass it by fiddling with the hardware acceleration for the browser
>>220360427>I am 100% sure there's no way to help youYou made whining like a bitch your entire personality so frankly, there's no helping you either. Ignore my posts if they upset you so much, I'm not going anywhere and neither is anyone else.
>>220360603>>220360603IF YOU'D NAMEFAG THEN I COULD FILTER YOU AND ACTUALLY DO THAT, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU WANT, YOU FUCKING WHORE HYPOCRITE
STOP COMPLAINING
>>220360631>>220360603It feels like this is a schizo act you're putting on, but it's hard to believe anyone would be that fucking sad.
>>220360681It's not an act. Apparently some anons get particularly bitchy for a few days, then it passes like a period. They manage to whine more than women lmao
