What about the crimson broad? I've always liked the Weird Supe of the Week aspect of the show, but did we really need to spend so much time on Marathon? Did Black Noir 2 matter at all? Do we need all this Vought Rising bait when that prejise sells itself? Sister Sage gets more stupid each time she appears. The satire isn't as sharp and there frankly isn't room for it now anyway.I still like the cast. A Train's sacrifice could have been done just as well with as much satisfaction awhile ago, but I still like how it was handled. The Hughie/Butcher stuff in One Shots was nice and necessary. I liked the scenes with Annie's family though a lot of the Starlighter/oppression material feels trivial because of how narrow the scope of the season has been. It was fun seeing Reiser's character. It still entertains me and part of me will be sad to see it end, but I'm guessing the next two episodes are going to be an intense shitshow in all the wrong ways.
