Sons of Anarchy would have been much better if it didn't waste a season and a half on making a local biker gang go on a cross-atlantic escapade to rescue an infant. Infants don't even count as characters in tv shows, they have no lines and literally cannot do anything. Infants are set pieces or plot devices until they're old enough to at least have lines. There was no reason to spend THAT much time having the entire cast focused on a character that the audience simply can't be invested in.

>>220365064If the writers wanted to make the club go to Ireland to meet with the IRA they could have come up with pretty much any other reason than essentially putting everything on hold for almost two full seasons just to chase a non-character and have the main character go through an extended anxiety attack.
