Why are societies of Vampires, Wizards, Werewolves, etc... That are superior to humans in every way possible but are somehow always hiding from the human world instead of ruling it?
>>
They're not superior; that's why they hide.

It just like real life:)
>>
People who rule put a target on their back. Everyone knows who they are. If things aren't going along swimmingly they get the blame. Its easier and safer to enjoy life from the darkness. Nobody blames you. Nobody even notices you. They're too busy flinging shit at each other to notice the creatures in their own hidden world. So they go along unmolested, unopposed. And they endure while the plebian hordes argue about celebrities and the elections
>>
for vampires and werewolves their collective numbers are always way less than humans and they also have major weaknesses and are extremely vulnerable at times. it also makes sense since they want to keep the advantage of being obscure so humans don't have a reason to band together.

for wizards you can make the argument that they don't want plebs to know about it. do you like the fact that normies and reddit know about 4chan and all our dank memes? no, you don't like it. you wish 4chan was still an obscure place that only the true autismos knew about.

There are settings where the vampires straight up take over too. But I think there's a massive appeal in "this could be happening right now!" that studio execs like. Or maybe it's cheaper. I dunno. I just woke up for a long nap. Anyways, I've always wondered why they don't adapt WoD more.

They usually have some fatal flaw and are in limited numbers. If there were like 2 billion werewolves then things would be very different but they know if they alert the humans to their existence they will eventually be hunted to extinction.

I mean do you have any interest in ruling all ants in the Amazon?

and those movies suck

Billionaires aren't hiding. There comes a point in wealth where it's way less headache to just go legit and pay your taxes.

>>220374330
This.
>>
>>220374376
Hiding in the sense that most billionaires don't go around showing off to us soley for the sake of showing off
>>
>>220374012
Vampires are parasites and thrive off human society, it would be counterproductive to do anything that would make humans aware of them. Even if vampires managed to take over they would have to set up human farms and that's just way more trouble than it's worth.
Werewolves are completely fucked, humans have been hunting beasts since forever.
Wizards are a mixed bag. In fantasy stories they're always a huge deal. I think only in Harry Potter there is an effort to hide because HP Wizards are very weak compared to other series.

>>220374012
there are like a thousand or more humans for every one vampire or werewolf in a given setting, we just have the numbers
>>
>>220374330
I will become lord of the ants.

Vampires can literally spawn as many of their kind as they want.
Werewolves, depend on setting, as well.
>>
>>220374623
>spawn billions of vampires
>outnumber humans
>hunt humans to near extinction
>not enough blood to go around
That's how you get Daywalkers or Africa
>>
>>220374012
Vampires are disloyal individualists. In Interview with the Vampire, it's seen as peculiar that Louis even wants to track down the history of their kind and establish ties with others.
It makes some sense. If you're the strongest lifeform in your local area, then making yourself known to equally strong lifeforms outside that area poses a substantial risk.

This sounds like a good advantage until you realize they all will be competing over blood soon.
>>
>>220374778
Yeah- his reach is long
>>
>>220374012
The wizarding world is ruled by cucks, muggle-lovers and blood traitors. Grindelwald did nothing wrong.
>>
>>220374655
You don't need to spawn dozens.
You need only to have ruling elite and your core enforces / shock troops being vampires.
>>

They literally have super strength and magic powers

there are millions of people per one billionaire yet world isn't in the state of permanent gommunist XD revolution.
Curious, isn't it?

no clue

Think of the animosity that was displayed to clever kids in elementary school for passing the spelling quiz, now double it for anyone with an edge.
