It was the characters going from Point A to point B. This format is also garbage. It's the same thing they're doing with their shitty 8-episodes Disney+ shows: they make a movie and split it in 8 parts. It's not a real tv show, and it doesn't feel fulfilling. As it ends, you realize that barely anything happened. Because it was just one arc stretched thin. The Clone Wars was a real tv show with 22 episodes, many arcs, many storylines, that get interwoven and connected by a larger super-narrative. Shit Disney+ pumps out is just movies split into parts. The only show they've made that is structurally similar to Clone Wars was Andor. It was a bunch of 3 episode arcs that formed a larger narrative. That's a better structure. But making shows with such structure is expensive and more creatively demanding. Because you have to come up not with ONE storyline to stretch, but with many to fill a season.
