What's the best movie you watched in class?>just got done reading animal farm>teacher rewards us with a movie>accidentally gets animal house>just shrugs his shoulders and let us watch it
Problem Child 2
Whats the ball for?
>>220379063Excuses
*Remember The Titans starts playing*
>>220379036The 90s version of Romeo and Juliet (before Baz revealed that's his only schtick). Also, Glory with Matthew Broderick.
>>220379036We watched The Money Pit in home ec and I really liked it. We had to watch Lord of the Flies in English after we had to read the book and it watched like a sadist soft core child porn. I legitimately can not understand someone wanting to watch it for entertainment that isn’t a gross pervert.
>>220379036Here is a list of movies the teachers let us watch grades 1 to 8. You fags always call me a liar and dont believe me I will start...>Beowulf>Simpsons Christmas episode>funny thing happened on the way to the forum>2001 a space odyssey>Billy Madison>Spaceballs>The Notebook>The Ring>Kangaroo Jack
>>220379036>just got done reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish>teacher rewards us with a movie>says she got Pulp Fiction>warned by half-Asian student of the violence, profanity, racist language, and a chronology too complex for our age group>just shrugs her shoulders: "but no nudity? okay">accidentally got Pump Friction>just shrugs her shoulders and let us watch it
Dumb and Dumber.
>>220379036I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off over 20 times in school, from middle school to high school. Why they would so often have us watch a movie about a kid skipping school, and the message being it's fine to skip school every once in a while, I have no idea
>>220379036Does anyone else remember how many teachers were unable to figure out that the vcr and tv had to be on the same channel?
>>220379036scooby doo and the ghoul school, we watched it in spanish for spanish class then had a pop quiz. Happened like 20 years ago and I still remember that moment.
>>220379552We watched Mousehunt in Spanish in mine, it was kino
>>220379502they were taunting you and hoping to bait someone into actually skipping
>>220379036Schindler's List in Holocaust class. The scene with the armless guy was pretty sad.
A Beautiful Mind was pretty fun the first time you see it. High School Psych
>>220379036
>>220379036Spanish teacher showed us Aliens because "Mexicans are sometimes called aliens".
>>220379568Based.
>>220379063Teacher puts a dildo on it and bounces on it in front of the class.
>>220379568>>220381260How the fuck does this kino get such poor reviews? I really don't get it.
>>220379036Identity 03 was pretty solid in my senior psychology class in HS. I didn't mind paris is burning or the documentary about the cripples in wheelchairs playing basketball too in college. Funny story, freshman year my one teacher put on monsters inc towards the end of the year because her class was pretty much over. When the very ugly slug women came on screen one kid shouted out "Omg it's Mrs. Principal last name" and everyone started dying. The teacher turned it off and we sat in silence the next 2 classes and everyone ragged on the kid after.Another cool story was in 8th grade we were acting out a twilight zone EP and the teacher said she would let us watch it if we found some way to watch it. I already had sites where you could watch shit for free and our class got to watch it instead of doing work. Good times.
>>220379036What's the thing on top of the TV?

>>220381395Damn is this all highschool and middle school or one or the other?
>>220381444First two were middle school, rest was high-school
>>220381395>The Dark Knightwat.
>>220381480The fuck they show dark knight for? Also you went over to kill a mockingbird in HS? I swear that was like the 5th grade for me.
Theater tech teacher showed us Eraserhead, half the class was asleep 20 minutes in
>>220379036Either Willy Wonka (the one with Gene Wilder) or Apollo 13 (11? I can’t remember)
>>220379036easily The Day After Tomorrowshit movie for a science clsas but it's kino as hell so who cares
Do Americans just watch movies all day in class?
Not exactly kino but was dope at 15
>>220381691It's better then getting having to pray 6 times a day for the Muslim students. Stupid euro
>>220381719Ok this tops dark knight. For what possible reason did you guys watch this?
>>220381691
>>220379036Saving Private Ryan, we watched the whole movie once and I really can't remember why we were in the same classroom for ~3 hours
>>220381736No clue, I was surprised then we were even allowed to. Only "adult" movie I'd seen in school at that point was >>220381616. That being said idk why the mc didn't just get a nice jap girl and avoid all the conflict.
>>220381691it's something that happen during the last week of school of before a holiday break, muhammed
>>220379036I had a pretentious nepo hire bitch of a principle, who forced us to watch a movie about an old lady who re-married a rich guy after her husband died. She had a son with her dead husband, but the son and his family were a bunch of retarded fuckups, especially her grandson, who was doing horribly at school, but the grandma didn't give a shit and wanted to help them, so she basically murdered her rich husband, who genuinely loved her to get his inheretance so she can give the money to her retarded family, so her grandson can go to university. I was really confused why our principle wanted everyone to watch that horrible movie.
>>220381765I mean he's an angry guy who doesn't like to be shown up. I don't remember the movie much at all but the main guy doesn't like injustice or bullshit so he felt like he had to do something.
We watched 2001 A Space Odyssey in class and my teacher accidently had it on mute for half the movie and insisted the movie was supposed to be that silent when people asked about it. So we watched scenes like Dave turning off HAL in dead silence
>>220381794Lol I remember a pretentious middle school principal that made sure a bunch of entertainment came through. Chinese acrobats did a whole routine in these stretchy leotards. Remember giggling like a tard cause one guy seemed to have a boner that was quite small appearing while he was performing
>>220379036We watched Detroit Rock City instead, but I thought it sucked. We also watched Pink Floyd - The Wall and that one was way more entertaining to me.>>220379186We watched Lord of the Flies in class too. It was the same year we watched American History X.
>>220381846God damn when was this? I swear there's a 50/50 chance a middle/HS teacher is genuinely retarded
I love it to this day.
>>220379036https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZgm9yiGzEECane Toads: An Unnatural HistoryIt was wack
>>220382179God damn these hoes are cracked
>>220382019Did anyone point out how stupid norton looks when he's supposed to look 16
>>220381719>Tokyo Drift>not kino
Evil Dead 2 in grade 5. It kick started my lifelong love of the series and I'm thankful I watched it when I was young enough to still be a little scared of it. We also watched It which scared a lot of us from taking showers
German class. Smoking hot blonde teacher, big tits, baked us cookies.Watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy, in English, German subs.Meanwhile French class across the hall, ugly crone teacher, no fun allowed, we couldn't see their heads under the windows. Probably being waterboarded.
>>220380972>Holocaust class
The best movies were probably Gattaca and Romeo+Juliet. Not a good movie, but I watched the original Birth of a Nation in my community college Intro to Film class. A big critique amongst my classmates was that it was racist.
>>220379036Was some movie called the invisible kid, since it was the 80s it of course had a scene where the kid turns invisible and goes into the women's locker room & there were tits everywhere. Was a great day for us14 year old boys
The modernized Richard III with Ian McKellan was badass
>>220379036We only ever watched Grease, Bugsy Malone or Romeo and Juliet (1968)Bugsy Malone was fun
>>220382329I remember people laughed at the end of Romeo + Juliet (the Leonardo DiCaprio version) where she shoots herself with this huge fucking desert eagle and it leaves this neat little hole. All the boys ruined it for the girls by discussing how it would have blown her head into pieces
>>220382251Not really, that was in middle school so we weren't very nitpicky about the realism of the movies we were forced to watch.
>>220382378Why the fuck were you watching this in middle school? There's rape and a curb stomping lol.
>>220382421One of the perks of growing up in the third world is that the teachers didn't give a singular fuck if the movies we watched in class were family friendly or not.
In high school our history teacher would play the Patriot once a yearMr EastonThe man taught me a lot about myself
Not the best but>German language class>Teacher brings in a German dub of The Ring (2002) at the end of the semester (no idea why she chose that)>R rated so we’re technically supposed to get parent’s permission >”Okay here’s your permission slips, and I’m going to turn around now. Once your parent signs the slips we’ll start watching”>We all forge our parent’s signature.
I remember we watched gattaca a bunch of times in chemistry. And we also watched that Romeo and juleit movie with Leonardo decaprio. There was that radiohead song, you and who's army in it and I liked that a lot.
>>220381691No, only when the teacher is too hungover to actually do their job.
>>220379036Romeo + Juliet
>>220381723>>220381776get raped by beaners lol
American History X. I got into trouble with the teacher because I thought Derek and his dad made good points, especially about the ending.
>>220379036I think if a teacher showed a raunchy sex comedy with actual tits in it today, not only would he be fired but he would probably be put on a sex offender list.
I don't know about "best", but the one I recall seeing most frequently was Donald Duck In Mathemagic Land.
>>220382666>most genetic diseases cured>people are smarter, healthier, etc.>even manletitus eliminated>technology progressed to wear manned space flights are a daily occurrence>even black people work for a living nowPeople were living so well in the 1990s that this was considered an unacceptable dystopia back then
We watched most of the Ghibli movies in Japanese class. In retrospect, they were not the best movies for practicing Japanese listening but the classes were tough and it was nice to kind of have half a week off every couple months.
