>>220392581I don't like licence to killBut I really like The living daylights
>>220392560>>220392581The way he was such a silly old man to put people off guard, then his eyes hardened and was was the coldest killer of all the bond actors. He killed people in cold blood to stop them from being able to report back

My favorite Bond movie is also Octopussy, Octavia Smythe is awesome, has the most chemistry with Bond, the India locations are awesome, the film has a perfect balance of camp and serious spy story, I love it
>>220392385I prefer For Your Eyes Only but Octopussy isn't bad. It's worth it for the third act alone. I do wish it was Moore's last.
>>220394870He had 7 movies and they were ALL good. I'm sick of pleb faggots going "hurr I wish this was his last because" just shut the fuck up bitch
>>220394870For your eyes only is the bond film i would use to explain james bond. That fucking lotus hnnnngggggg. isn't that also the one where the bond girl is so young, she wants sex and he takes her to get ice-cream instead?"I do wish it was Moore's last."it was, it was specifically written to be a farewell to bond. Pierce Brosnon, who's TV show was being taken off the air for low ratings, had been picked as the next bond. Then, just months before shooting started, Reminton Steel was renewed. The fame of being the next bond doubled the audience attention. The shooting schedule was already set, so Moore agreed to do one more. But it was written for a much MUCH younger man. Octopussy being a slightly older woman, not a young barely legal one, was deliberate and created a much more interesting dynamic. A view to a kill is a great movie, but it needed some changes to suit Moore's bond.
>>220394888I'm a HUGE fan of Roger Moore's bond, none of his films are bad, or even not good. Octopussy was supposed to be his last, it was a beautiful farewell. But I'm not going to complain about A view to a kill. It's so much fun. Just make the bond girl 10 years older, or better yet, bond doesn't sleep with her, and at the end on the bridge, they fall off and are saved by Octavia Smythe driving some kind of open backed water filled truck, and Bond introduces her as his wife. Oh, even better, add a little baby in a baby carrier next to her, introduce his daughter, Tracy.A view to a kill is like when the rock band finishes their sets and walks off, only to come back and play a set or synthwave. Not what you expected, but still pretty great.
