3 movies in the books, here's the rundown:>Slanted (2025)This was really fucking retarded. I guess it's supposed to be a body-horror of sorts, especially towards the end. So I'm supposed to believe that they found a town in Texas with ZERO Mexicans? I'm calling bullshit on that. It fails as body-horror, it fails as social commentary, and it definitely fails as anti-white. This movie is completely out of touch with reality.>Ghost Train (2024)This is basically 5 stories that are tied together. The intro & first two stories are about 31 minutes long and below average. The next two stories are really good. The 3rd story about the homeless man is easily the best. Now, the ending story is a mixed bag. Overall, I'd recommend it, if only for the 2 middle stories.>Teeth (2007)This was supposed to be Deform, but I had more time and needed to fill the spot. I didn't like this when I saw it back in ~2008 or so and I don't like it now. It's way more awkward than it was back then and that doesn't help at all. Some people enjoy this movie, but I don't.

I watched "The Call of Cthulhu" (2006), and for a modern black and white silent movie it's really not bad. They didn't seem to have much of a budget, but the film is true to it's literary source.Of course it's a bit of an irony that "The Call of Cthulhu" was first published in 1928, talkies having ended the silent film era the year before.

I recently watched the horror movie Sick. It’s overall pretty corny but I had such a respect for the story because the bad guy fucks shit up. But like also gets his shit fucked up. It was so nice to see the antagonist not suck at their job lol.
