It does feel like barely anything happened. In the end, Maul just got the twi'lek girl and that's it. Otherwise he is effectively at the same place as he was at the end of Clone Wars, having lost everything and on the run. Most of the show was just a lot of action and go from point A to point B. The story is really paper thin, as are most of the characters. There is not much to discuss other than how good it looked and how well animated it was. This keeps happening, because they just make one arc/movie and stretch it thin into 8-10 episodes. Conversely, The Clone Wars and Andor had many arcs and storylines per season that were connected by the larger narrative, they were much more dense and diverse in terms of storytelling.

It's a nonstop deluge of low effort and low quality slop. And there is no value in getting attached to anything new, because there are 10 more projects coming out after that. I think I saw someone adding up how long it would take to watch every piece of MCU content they ever made, and the movies alone are nearly a hundred hours. If you include the streaming series, it's closer to a thousand fucking hours. It's just an endless fucking slog, and it's demoralizing. It's much easier to just draw a cut off line, and not pay attention to anything after that. It's basically the only way you can watch modern media
