Their introductions in the few first episodes is them killing people, enslaving people, abusing people all while clearly also despising each other. They act like degenerate immoral selfish scum without principles so why exactly am I supposed to care that others want to take some of their thousands upon thousands of acres of land? The supposed villains are far more ethical and lawful than they are.

>>220415392Tbh they did a pretty good job of showing the blatant hypocrisy of the natives. The maybes were openly admitting to using “white man” tactics to steal land. Even in the last episode they showed that the minute they gave the land over to the reservation, the children bum rush the property and vandalize the headstones and dance on the graves of the people that helped them. At no point were the natives ever meant to be an underdog group for the audience.
