The antagonist is basically made by thw writers to be irrational, angry and racist turned evil, just because he wants a future with airbenders in it, it's entirely an allegory for the idea that white people should happy that they will stop existing and to just let go of survival as long as their culture passes on, it's absolute woke garbage.
