What is the WORST movie soundtrack or score you've ever heard?
>>220425683Everything from Japan.
GoldenEye is one of those examples where the quality of the film is completely inverse to the quality of its score.
>>220425683The Social NetworkHow that awful shitty soundtrack snubbed How to Train Your Dragon's score at the Oscars still baffles me.
>>220425683I remember uncut gems having a bad score around the beginning.
>>220425683True Romance, its so annoying.
>>220425745The Man with the Golden Gun's also sucks
>>220425732I think you mean everything from China. Chinks can't into music. They spent thousands of years playing two string guitars. Japs make pretty good video game music.
>>220425732>YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO>*plays the kazoo while an old grandma wails*
>>220425732I automatically take "everything ___" answers to be from morons who don't watch anything.
>>220425683Most of Hans Zimmer scores. He singlehandedly destroyed the whole industry.
>>220425683Pretty much every comedy or spoof movie that contains nothing but meme songs
>>220425683Suicide Squad 2016 is insulting.
>>220425776>Chinks can't into mu-ACK!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRVsHV0ZHBM
>>220425846>just hit shuffle on Spotify "popular hits"
>>220425846>Uh, like, GOTG had songs so...like...we have songs....and they're in the film! We did it!
>>220425856kek
>>220425745Tina nailed the intro to goldeneye, hell even garbage and billy did a decent job, strange pick. And the rest of the score bits are pretty good too
This piece of shit and it isn't even close
>>220425683There Will Be Blood (oscar winner IIRC)
>>220425745Eric Serra music is great in Luc! Besson's movies. Goldeneye is just too mainstream so it doesn't work.
>>220425963Lol. A retard with no taste.
>>220425683The Black Hole (1979)The main theme is so fucking ass and annoying. It sounds ominous for 30 seconds and then you realize it is basically a broken record. They use it throughout the whole flick. You will forget everything about the movie, but this butthole music will haunt youhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piVD5ND0DrI&list=PLkAUJkbhd-RgRcxvk9dXjYJYMdmT15tyS&index=2
>>220425683Worst as in most ill-fitting, not necessarily in terms of on-paper quality, would be Deep Blue Sea. It has this very bombastic, melodramatic orchestral score and it's so comically out of place in this dopey horror film about CGI sharks. You've got this Carmina Burana music blaring while they go "we made normal sharks into SUPER sharks!", and it just made me laugh.
>>220425982>>220425745*bangs pots*
>>220426028doo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doodoo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doodoo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doodoo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doodoo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doodoo deh doo WEE DOO DOO doo
>>220425963I dont remember the soundtrack at all. I dont know if thats a bad thing
I'll have to go with The Dark Valley, a german western set in the 19th century. It's all quite well made troughout but then you get to this scene:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXAGlBxUbpE
>>220425997I'm sure there are worse ones but that stood out as bad.
>>220426178wow that doesnt fit at all. might aswell have some techno beat for this scene
>>220425683Chungking Express.
>>220425745Filtered to the max, GoldenEye had an excellent soundtrack.
>>220426178GAAAAWWWDDSPPEED
>>220425752The Social Network in general is a terribly over-rated film. Eisenberg captured the extreme jewishness of The Zuck but not the 'tism, which is actually his most defining characteristic. He's not a mastermind he's just a very awkward jew jewing jewishly and we already have like eight versions of that film
I don't know if anyone else has watched this piece of shit but it easily has the worst most distracting soundtrack I've ever heard. the same two unfitting sappy piano orchestra hallmark channel tracks and they spam it over EVERY SCENE including chase scenes
>>220425846very much so
>>220426204Bad soundtrack doesn't mean music you wouldn't listen on the radio. It's great and fits the movie perfectly. The oil rig scene is the best audiovisual moment of the 21st century.
>>220425683True Romance's love theme hurts the film.
>>220426373Don't remember that scene but it generally tried to do too much. The movie didn't have ominous hidden depths.
>>220426284You wouldn't recognize good music even if it hit you in the face.https://youtu.be/AEjZupA1Qkw?is=HKkclzwrzqFGEoB9

>>220426445>sax and fretless bassAbsolute kino
Absolute garbage eclectic jazz score further ruins an already crappy movie that had so much potential.
>>220426445>>220426577So fucking good
>>220426341Lifelog was developed by Pentagon, he's just picked to give it a human-turned-humanoid face. All these fake origin stories get spammed movie biopics to cover up the grand scheme behind the scenes..
>>220425683Moulin RougeThe songs are all extremely annoying and at twice the volume of the rest of the film.
>>220426178Lmfao, who thought this was a good idea?
>>220427193The version of Roxanne they used was excruciating to listen to.
Tin Cup, and its not even close. Its some no-name bowling shirt blues band and all of the songs have loud horrendous lyrics that just go over some concept just discussed in the movie.
>>220425745The driving eval music is so outrageously retarded
scorcese movies with all those nagging woman songs
>>220425933NTA but Tina Turner has the most obnoxious and atrocious and unpleasant voice i've ever heard.
I hope someday someone does a fan edit and rescores Robocop 2 with the original movie's soundtrack
Troy Director's Cut is kinda bad score wise.
>I>STAND ALOOOOONE
>>220425942Boy how I’ve come to loathe “aren’t we the coolest” movies made by Hollywood.
>>220425683Dune
>>220425732Godzilla Minus One score kicks ass
>>220428531It's one of the worst even for that genreThe soundtrack just sounds like war drumming
>>220428468That's was the one redeeming qualitiy of this movie desu
Daredevil (2003)
>>220425683Elvis' biopic, there was fucking hiphop
>>220426341You cant actually believe that movie, or anything where a jew comes in and steals it all? They have everything bugged with the patriot act, and have entire universities working daily to come up with their scheme of power and control. Zuckerberg's public persona is fake as fuck too, or he's just highly medicated when speaking publicly
Interstellar
>>220425745Weird too because it works so well in the video game and so badly in the movie.
>>220429363?
don't know but ocean's eleven was aggravating to watch because there was always some loud music overlaid on scenes.
CatsEven the famous songs were shite renditions
All nutreck has blended in my brain, but the one with an overbearing soundtrack that tells you exactly what you're supposed to be feeling almost every second of the film (show perhaps, though I've watched very few episodes), and they're all very gay emotions.
>>220425745Absolute plebeian take. Those pipe noises are iconic.
>>220425745Goldeneye is a middling Bond film that no one would give a shit about were it not for the N64 game. Also Martin Campbell is a hack
Poor Things
>>220431095>no one would give a shit about were it not for the N64 gameThis is a really stupid claim because the game came out two years after the movie (to the point that Tomorrow Never Dies was already on the way). How did the film became a hit and reignite Bond after the hiatus if only the game was popular/
>>220428210All the replacement scores weaken the scenes they’re in. The biggest example is the temp music used in the Hector and Achilles fight scene. It sounds like temp music composed for something else.
>>220431124All Bond movies are hits, that's not a special accomplishment. Also the scene where Judi Dench makes meta commentary about Bond being a misogynist is so cringe. And making M a woman was just a horrible idea. Fuck Barbara Broccoli she ruined the franchise
>>220429824https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO1FZEUbZJEYeah, from the very start I hated the music in nuTrek. Michael Giacchino is a pretty fine composer and I like when he has to really fit specific themes of a setting, but here it's just ultra generic slop.
>>220425683there was a film made in the 60s with audio and soundtrack so horrible I had to turn the film off, when I'd otherwise manage to finish almost any other film.there must be a ton of them from then, horrible dogshit audio where voices blare out then go quiet, fluctuating like that, with some tinny warbling crap music on in the background that shoots up and down in volume, crackling all the way.
Inferno. A thriller where they decided that at the point where shit was hitting the fan and the mc was going to find the big bad, a terrible pop song should be playing with also terrible vocals saying the names of the villains. Very bad film, nowhere close to Suspiria.
>>220431095absolutely correct>>220431171and again.i barely need to reply at all.saw goldeneye in the cinema when it came out and it was mostly a disappointment, with only a couple of scenes that were interesting.the M stuff was poison, and for some reason was the main part of their advertising for months leading up to it.the game was played by little brothers years after it had come out, and they ended up having an emotional attachment to the name of the film. for bond it was the beginning of the end, self referential, feminist and insincere.
>>220425683Him hired Haxan Cloak to do the music and then wasted most of the music with rap music about nothing. Listing off the reasons you like yourself is not a song, it's bragging in rhyme over a drum machine.
Same applies for any soundtrack overstuffed with pop songs and no breathing time between them
>>220431207Another thing I hate about Goldeneye is the character of Natalya. In every scene between her and Bond she's belittling him or complaining or just acting like a fucking shrew. Like the scene on the beach where she's pissed off at him because... he wants to save the world and do his job. She's just a stupid cunt. In fact all of the main Bond girls of the Brosnan era were stupid cunts who talk shit to Bond for no reason except to show what a girlboss they are. A trend that got even worse in the Craig era
Creed 2. It was nothing but auto-tuned mumblerap from that shitty 2014 era. But during the finale when Creed is knocking out le evil russian man they had a come to the light moment and played a remix of some Rocky 2 music. It kinda saved the movie almost
>>220431171>All Bond movies are hits,Completely untrue. The previous three films had done average numbers, and below the series' peak. Goldeneye returned it to being a major blockbuster, it did triple the box office of License to Kill. I don't care if you didn't personally like the film, it's irrelevant. You claimed no one liked it and people only liked the game, that makes no sense because it came out two years after the film, to the point that in the leadup to the game's release gaming mags were heavily questioning why it was coming out so long after the film when movie tie-ins are normally close to release. The film was a big success and brought the series back to being blockbusters after the 80s had hit a decline in pop culture.
>>220431287I think Drago Jr should have won that fight. Not in a downer manner, just in a make his father proud way.
>>220431359Nigga at the time no one thought Goldeneye was anything special. It was just another Bond movie. It made big at the box office because of the long hiatus, people were ready for a new Bond movie. That's it. The reason people worship the film TODAY is because of the game and because it's directed the the same guy who made Casino Royale, which is also overrated to the extreme.
>>220431429>Nigga at the time no oneBro you weren't even alive in 1995. Don't make up horseshit, just because you have a bee up your ass about Barbara Broccoli.
>>220431429babby's first attempt at revisionist history
the digimon movie soundtrack is really gay
>>220431429I was there. There was real hype over Pierce Brosnan being Bond after what was considered to be the failure of the gritty, grounded Timothy Dalton Bond. Goldeneye was considered a return to form and actually fun. People want to see Bond save the world, not thwart drug dealers. There's a reason why the worst Daniel Craig Bond film is about water rights.
>>220431505I'll KILL YOUyeah it's a bit naff
>>220431429I saw Goldeneye at an age where I was able to appreciate it and let me tell you, the movie blew my mind. Like I was aware of Jame Bond before as a kid, but it didn't really click with me until GoldenEye.
>>220431429Absolute nonsense. It was very well received and considered a big return to form for the series, as well as being seen as successfully modernizing the feel of the action and setting. There's a reason they blasted Tomorrow Never Dies out so quickly afterward, even though blockbuster film production was much more laborious by the mid 90s than it was in the 60s where you had a Bond flick every year.
Some of the music they slap over silent films makes my ears bleed like that.
>>220428199>I hope someday someone does a fan edit and rescores Robocop 2 with the original movie's soundtrackDO DOO DO DOO DO DOO! ROOOOOBOOO COOOOOOP!DO DOO DO DOO DO DOO! ROOOOOBOOO COOOOOOP!
>>220431575Maybe you shouldn't watch silent films then
>>220431747Maybe they should hire this guy to play historically accurate scores. He's unemployed, as ragtime players usually are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imspRb_gf5Y
>>220431260I found the bronsan films to be generally intolerable for various reasons. the villains were all pathetic, boring and forgettable with their schemes all blending into one another, with claims that they were "realistic".>you want to know what real power is, bond, can I call you that, he-he is renewable energy and recycling, I will own the biggest recycling plant ever, and recycle all the plastic and clear up the ocean - thus crashing the materials industry so plastic manufacturers go out of business ha-ha bond, and now for a demonstration>takes bond on a six hour tour of a plastic rendering planti saw the first daniel derp film and avoided all the others. drab, dull, feminist insincere self-hating shite.
>>220431429I was five when it came out, it was the second Bond film I saw, after Goldfinger. So I can't tell you much about the general public's opinion because I was a kid, but I do know my parents had both fallen off Bond and disliked the 80s films, my mom disliked Roger Moore's in particular, and used to mock his films, and were completely back on board for Goldeneye and loved it. So that's my anecdotal evidence as far as Goldeneye goes, they were the target audience age wise and it got them back into the series.
Rollergator
>>220425683all the Marvel shit>>220425752shit opinion imo
>>220431359look, he's right, you're low iq and you weren't around when it came out, and likely are in the profile of people who were allowed to borrow their much older brother's game cart and then attached onto the name and saw the film itself only afterwards.it was a shit film, shit bond, and was shit when it came out.the game was shit too and a joke of an fps, ugly as sin and utterly outdated, it was only popular with nintendo freaks because they didnt see a pc for a decade afterwards.
>>220431429I've been saying this for a decade at least, and the cretinous replies only prove the statement to be true.i hate seeing this dogshit film dragged up at every mention of bond. if I had a time machine I'd erase the game from history to ensure no one even remembered the title of the film itself.
>>220431873>he
>>220431847>exactly fits the profile of "my older brother let me watch him play the game and years later he let me try playing it, this early memory meant the film name stuck in my mind and so I go on and on about a feminist pile of shit gelded self-hating non-bond film and claim it's the greatest thing ever made."

>>220425752>snubbed How to Train Your Dragon's score at the Oscarsin those years dreamworks had a lot of baggage, anything they made could not be considered prestige in any shape or formadd that to the fact that the oscar's animated movie category has been, for the longest time, just>uuuh i don't watch kiddie shit, but my boys liked the disney thing. so I'll vote that I guessthat mentality probably bleeds into the soundtrack category

>>220433283Keaton plays an actor who was famous in the 80s/90s for playing a superhero (Birdman) but whose career has been dead since, he gets the chance to do a play which if it goes well could reignite his career, he also has to deal with another member of the cast (Edward Norton) who is completely up his own ass, and his relationship with his estranged daughter (Emma Stone), and also his own mental instability which manifests as the Birdman character. And interesting premise on paper, that is completely undone by the gimmick of trying to make the film seem like it filmed in one single continuous take, which it fails to do because the wipes and transitions are blindly obvious, and accompanied by a constant (and I mean constant) god awful improvised eclectic jazz drum. The whole film is the definition of self-satisfied pretention.
