Scripted in a way yeah but the situations are very real, never underestimate the average american with a lot of time on their hand

The old nudist guy episode was so funny
>shows how he uses a massage gun and then puts on his dick telling them to close the door
>google searches places i can be naked without everyone being mad at me

Listening to the creators talk about it, it doesn't come off as scripted at all. It's just people being driven to insanity. They talk about how the cops, incidentally, always make things worse because when these disputes start the people involved of course call the police. And the police say they can't do shit since it's a civil matter BUT they should record everything as evidence if it goes to court. That adds to the paranoia for all parties involved and it's what leads to so many of them getting on social media. They also mentioned that a lot of the people they interviewed as potential candidates thought the creators were attempting to trick them, that they were sent by the other party in their dispute to either make them look bad, or do some sort of legal underhandness to give them an advantage. Apparently this was the biggest issue they ran into it; convincing both parties they weren't there to be on anyone's side and they weren't tricking them.
