What other cities would you like to see Godzilla and company thrash in a new movie? I like keeping him in the orient but I'm open to all ideas.
>>
Less Godzilla and more anti-capitalist forces. That would be based.

It'd be fun to see the protags running up and down these more vertical type buildings. America really needs more vertical cities, Chicago would be a great candidate but if the regulations are too much than maybe Miami is the answer, Florida's forward thinking these days. Just imagine godzilla thrashing while a massive hurricane swells aroundm

Well at least it's not Chongqing this time

Anyone play War of the Monsters? the scale was fucked because the monsters climbed the buildings but that made it the most fun giant monster game, with the influx of vidya adaptations if this game was more modern it could've got a movie which would've been a blast because the whole things had a 50s vibe aswell as the overall humor to it.

>>220443384
what are you talking about this is a godzilla and giant monsters thread?
>>
>>220443353

In the anime film Akira (IIRC), there's a scene where the kids and their girlfriends (that is, the whole crew) are all on a sort of high open air bridge connecting buildings or other structures along these lines. The bridge itself is very large and sturdy, as depicted, and has shopping-mall type features like benches, fountains, etc. The drop-off is very striking, they're up like 40 stories at least, if not more.

This skyscraper would make for a great cameo in a monster movie, we lost the kino twin towers but thankfully theres still some architects that know the importance of aesthetics, our movies thank you

Ugly
>>
>>220443785
strongly disagree but you also gotta see the base to know how kino of a building it is
>>
BIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDID
how many other fictions is the main villain by all rights superior to the protagonist without special circumstances. Boy do i love ghidorah

That's the worst part

A remake of Hedorah in India

nice digits, maybe if you're a simple man who doesn't like something fresh but the base is absolutely peak aesthetics. We're talking about America here which has severely declined in building great and impressive things and this was at least a bend to the right direction. Seeing it in person is a lo better than most skyscrapers

Hedorah in general comes off as a great monster to bring into the new series because you can make him dark and edgy and the climate shit is ever relevant. Also could have several forms which we haven't seen in awhile in the new movies.

Imagine putrid sludge slopping into all these apartment windows

that would be sick. I really like the FG gag where godzilla comes out of the ocean and the place is already destroyed, I think it was Haiti but the joke would work most middle eastern places
>>
>>220443509
>still
That building was built in what, the 80s?
The story of architecture is:
>pre ww2 - every building beautiful
>1950-2000 - all buildings less beautiful, some ok, some ugly
>post 2000 - all buildings hideous, pic rel

they started building it in 2021, its art deco design which has always been awesome. Lot of ignorance I'm correcting today
>>
Godzilla destroys Baltimore but the whole movie is a negro comedy disaster flick where nobody helps each other out amid the disaster and they keep pulling tricks on each other

>>220445117
Im not big on the jarring shapes of a lot of modern buildings but the one you just posted looks kinda cool

>>220444876
It sucks

no its awesome and one of (if not the) the best skyscrapers America built this decade
>>

It's not. Standards have declined to the point where it's impressive to a lot of people, though

I'd say Toronto but it's on Lake Ontario so I have no clue how he would get there

>>220445934
you probably hate on everything which I respect to a degree because I find things to hate all the time but here you've got blinders on from some kind of personal bias
>>
>>220446227
It's just very ordinary for a skyscraper. Not terrible, but not that good for NY
>>
>>220446192
He'd swim up from the inner earth. Pic unrelated but I would love to see Godzilla tear up india and then fight a giant elephant monster
>>
>>220446256
its shape is semi unique and the base is extremely unique. Make it any more different and it would run the risk of being a >>220445117
type of skyscraper
>>
>>220446256
It's really good for anything built in the last 20 years. It's one of the only examples of one that isnt abject shit
>>
FUCK YOU JANNIES I GOT TO POST PICTURES OF BUILDINGS YOU STUPID FAGS
