Better then it ought to be. Still absolutely dreadful first few episodes, bit finds it's footing much faster than any of the classic shows.
I don't love it or anything, but I'm impressed at how much it tries to feel like a proper continuation compared to all the other shows that fail at being actual continuations.

It wasn't funny at all, but the creators actually like Star Trek and it could have been a good show if it didn't try to be funny.

But because it tried (and failed) to be funny, it wasn't a good show and I can't recommend it.

Trek and Morty is unfunny garbage. An actual show about the less glamorous Starfleet could have worked I think. It's a bit like DS9 but less dramatic and focus more on the characters and how the Federation even works.
