The main story became so divorced from the original concept to where it devolved into an extremely generic spy thriller with boring action scenes, while the vignettes of the virus had little to no impact on the story.I never go into a Ryan Murphy show expecting high art. I expect something gross and ridiculous, and on that front it delivered. Certainly not up everyone's alley.
