Avatar has so much wasted potential that's ruined by >muh whale friend>muh whale conscientious objectors>muh jaden smith son>muh enemy's son>same exact plot as the second movie>every other scene is a montage of Na'vi being harmonious with natureThey tease us with some actual depth to this world in the fact that there are tribes who are not noble savages, there might be wars and who knows, maybe even a primitive aztec like empire of Na'vi. Nah we need more whale scenes. Quaritch has problems with command and Jake keeps wormtonguing him, will he turn? will he accept Pandora, but in a twist become a Pandora warlord? maybe in Avatar 7. What is up with Kiri, why can't she speak with Eywa? what if Eywa downloaded herself into Kiri that's why she shot-circuits when she tries to connect? Or maybe since she can hack into the planet, she is seen as a virus? Nah she just had to ask real hard and Eywa is just a big blue lady who declares planetary genocide for the blood of humans to seep into the ever thirsty earth because one person asked for it, undermining the 2 previous films. I never cared about the anti-human message since it's such an over the top caricature but this switch up was sinister.I liked Jakesully still considering himself a human and Neytiri being a racist chud, other than that they're just there. Quaritch and Varang scenes were the most interesting in the entire runtime but again it don't go anywhere. I'll die on the hill that the first one is good. Yeah it's not a Palme D'Or contender, it was always isekai slop and that's ok.

>>220445667>Eywa is just a big blue lady who declares planetary genocide for the blood of humans to seep into the ever thirsty earth because one person asked for it, undermining the 2 previous filmsUndermining? Isn't 3's ending just a repeat of 1's ending? Jake connected to the Eywa tree and said, "Look through my memories. See what humans do. They'll do this to you. To stop it, you have to fight." And the climax of the big fight was Eywa sending all the animals to kill humans - birds for the planes, elephant stampedes for the mechs, cats for the soldiers. Which is also a plot point in 2 that humans can't scout out the na'vi bases in the floating mountains because Eywa still sends the birds after them if they go in, years later. I barely remember 3's climax fight, but I think the young whales fight by choice, then the big whales fight by choice, and at the very end, all the bad squids and other animals are sent by Eywa to fight in a 1:1 repeat of the first film.
>>220445667>>220446144To add, isn't the reason the Avatar 2 resurrected recons were put "into the form of our enemy" because Eywa is still in her murder-all-humans phase and they hope using avatar bodies will trick her into letting them scout finally?
