What makes a movie or TV show "Reddit"?
Better Call Saul
>reddit>chud>nazi>wokeWords that have zero meaning.

Can't describe it, but if I watch I will know it about 2 minutes if its reddit or not.
>>220446918Supreme Court Definition of Pornography
>>220446913>reddit a community that loves to praise the opinion of the masses (specifically the terminally online masses) rather than the opinion of those who know >chud someone who lives an introverted or asocial life due to the inability of adapting to society and thus is resented towards it >nazi someone whose ego is tyranical and wants to repress not only himself but also others >woke Someone left-wing who honestly believes in the politics pushed by an external civilization in the last 30 years and that contradict the rest of human history
I have no clue what this scene is from, but if the subtitles are true and correct, this is reddit>>220447064
On /tv/, Reddit is perceived as a bunch of naive tools who believe that being a nerd is cool. As a result, they're childishly enthusiastic about their hobbies (which they've only barely scratched the surface of), find random humor completely hilarious, and are notoriously pedantic. This is due to the fact that they believe that nerds are some kind of "cultural elite" simply because their interests aren't completely mainstream.BUT, since they don't see themselves as particularly alienated by society, they haven't developed the pleb/patrician paradigm, unlike 4chan. Consequentially, they also have the prudish, politically-correct mentality that goes with the delusion that they can still be normal members of society and accepted by potentially anyone, or that they have moral standards to uphold. This makes them very prone to being shocked or amused by the cheapest transgressions and subversions.Although keep in mind that "modern" /tv/(aka after 2013) is the product of reddit winning the /q/ wars in 2012
Few will admit this, but 4chan is the new reddit.

>>220447336> 2012 era reddit is better and freer than modern 4chanI honestly feel 4chan in the early 2010s was pretty bad, reddit was fine, the small subs were pretty isolated and the bodybuilding forums had a more entertaining edginess
nothing
>>220446882That isn't what he asked.
>>220447276Why though?
>>220447934>bodybuilding forums had a more entertaining edginessAre they still there?I never used them.Did i miss out? Is it all over?
>>220448253Bodybuilding.com’s misc, tons of memes from that era originated there, even the supreme gentleman got bullied when he tried posting thereThey’ve been gone for a while
>>220446857Self aware quips. It's almost impossible to find sincere genre fiction in current era. Everybody is snarky and too cool for school. It's extremely annoying how every new thing I find that might be interesting is ruined by "you're probably wondering how I got here" tier quips.
