May 2026...I am forgotten
It was already forgotten by mid-January. Really fascinating how quickly that happened.
And nobody bothers to even say anything about the recently released Tales from 85 thing with bunch of randoms voicing the characters. Really absurd how they managed to completely kill the whole franchise. The only aspects of any worth in the last season were the fat Cartman-like kid and Holly.
Exctly what netflix wants. Please keep subscribed for our next slop. Thanks.
>>220452170Why is every single series now just getting destroyed by the retard showrunners, the cast end up hating it and cant wait for it to be finished and it all goes to shit.Every. Fucking. Show.
season 1 is literally the only watchable seasonshow nosedives off a cliff quickly in season 2 and it never recovers
>>220452170even zoomers on tiktok were already rightfully slating it because they took a fucking 20 year break before season 5.
>>220452405Like what? Only thing they have looking forward is Wednesday S3 and what might save it from becoming the next train wreck is it being produced by MGM Television and not strictly Netflix-affiliated production company.
I only watched 3 seasons. Never was attracted to MBB until /tv/ started hating on her for no reason. Now I like her very much. Electric State was awful tho.
>>220452233>>220452170Just like all the seasons before it, no staying power. >>220452428No, season 1 is garbage too. You’re retarded for watching season 2 after how bad season 1 was and the people who watched all 5 seasons are so stupid they’re less than human in my eyes.>>220452505Squid game.
>>220452170It's still on? Only managed to see a couple of episodes from the first one, nostalgiaslop for people who grew up with goonies and stand by me
>>220452372I mean no one was going to watch that even if Stranger Things was the best show ever.
>>220452965>Just like all the seasons before it, no staying power.Nah, people were still talking about season 4 for months after it ended. The hype was insane for a while, but when season 5 finally was announced it was all "oh, that show is still a thing?"
>>220452986>goonies and stand by meAs a boomerchad, it was neither of those things. Not even close. Same problem with The Goldbergs. Set in the 80s. Great, but you have to do more than just be like "look a Rubix cube!" or "look Uno cards!" or in ST's case, "look Dungeons & Dragons!"
>>220452170The Coming out scene was hilarious.
really amazing how much they turned robin from endearing slightly quirk chungus into an obnoxious yapping redditor. They were always walking a fine line with a character like that but couldn't make her dialogue worth listening to. Feels like most of season 5 was just completely ad libbed by the actors on the spot. The biggest risk with child actors is hoping they develop talent at some point but many never do.
>>220453416The funniest thing about that scene is how it was so fucking corny that it actually turned people who had already accepted Will was gay.
>I think everyone was pretty worried, honestly,” Wolfhard told Time magazine. “The way that ‘Game of Thrones’ got torn to shreds in that final season, we’re all walking into this going, ‘We hope to not have that kind of thing happen.’ But then we read the scripts. We knew that it was something special.”
it's funny how many times they played climbing up that hill
>>220453702It was used so well in S4, but then they overused it completely in S5 to the point where I just got tired of hearing it.
>>220453532How the FUCK do you go from this to this >>220453532
>>220452170Right damn shame what happened to Stranger Things.>>220453644>chk'dPlot twist. It was in fact not something special. It was so bad
>>220452428Season 1 was great. I rewatched it right after s5 and loved it, s2 was meh, stopped watching then and there.
golly it's almost like S5 completely neutering the cataclysmic ending of S4 made it forgettable and lame. It's almost like it was a harried and detached yet somehow also plodding and slow mess where they will have a gory mess of an episode, followed by an episode where the only violence is cartoon slapstick bullshit, again followed by an episode where someone has their face impaled from behind, shown in full
>>220452549>comic about how the world was ruined by corporations and progress with a faggy little cartoon mascot on everything>make it a story about how the faggy cartoon mascots are good robots and they help save the world from the bad ones or some shitit's insane how offended I can be at a bad adapataion when I've neither consumed the original nor the adaptation itself
>>220453532her looking like this and saying "my mommy says i look terminally insincere" had the bile rise in my throat
>>220454689>it's almost likePlease go back.
>>220454689that confrontation with the soldiers without showing a drop of blood or anything like that was so incredibly tonally out of place
>>220454737"gosh" wasn't enough of a clue that my meek opening words were sarcastic mockery of how most lefty criticism is phrased?when you see someone call another anon "sweaty", do you think they genuinely meant to call them "sweetie" in earnest and just fucked it up?
>>220452170I'm gonna be real with you, forgetting was the best part about the finale
hollyposting started strong but even we hollyheads couldn't force positivity
