>>220458170>that two parter where they were stuck in the basement with the water rising and when it hit a certain point it would electrocute them to deathI still think about that episode to this day and the endinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ478FJ1wQI
He was Albanian, right?
>>220458268>Proud.I wish this show had gone insane like what happened to Family Matters after Urkel became the star.
>>220458294he was from Mypos, cozin.
>>220458268I love this dancehttps://youtu.be/BFd3rGIa5UY?si=reTZdV-Ygnh3PJKt&t=71
>>220458268The one where they think Balki's gf is a serial killer comes to me randomly and often.
>>220458170I remember the two-parter where they were white water rafting with their girlfriends and the episode ends with them going over the waterfall and then we just see the empty raft floating downstream before "To be continued" came up.A week later my mom made us go to some gay theater thing and promised the VCR was set up and would record the episode but of course she fucked it up and I never saw what happened goddammit mom YOU RUINED MY FUCKING LIFE
>>220458294don't be ridickolos
>>220458294He was a Greek village person
>>220458613Myposian
>>220459419they died, that was the finale of the series.
>>220459419Its so weird that sitcoms used to have life or death cliffhangers back in the day
>>220458417The last season was pretty zany. It just focused on the cousins being married to their hot blonde bitches and wacky shenanigans in the house they all share. It ends with them giving birth in a hot air balloon. Pretty wacky, I'd say.
This is one of my comfort shows. No matter how rotten my day was or how shitty things are going, I can always marathon some episodes and it sets me right back on track.
Just discovered every season of this show is on plex for freecomfy show
>>220458170I haven't watched a single episode of Seinfeld but I grew up watching this show.
>>220460992Seinfeld is also worth watching.
STANDING TALLLLLLLON THE WINGS OF MY DREAMS
>>220461257>only in America cozin.
>>220458294honorary Japanese
>>220460332And then there's the one where Larry and Balki are babies
>>220464626>And then there's the one where Larry and Balki are babieswtf what was the set up that could possibly make this beleivable
>>220460332
>>220459672>>220459047>The one where they think Balki's gf is a serial killer comes to me randomly and often.Me too, anon (for some reason).>>220459228>>220463374I don't remember that ending (though they nearly died from embarrassment): Mandelapolous Effect.
>>220464652It's less zany than the description promises. Larry finds out his girlfriend might be pregnant. Larry and Balki daydream about what their sons might be like.
>>220458170I'm a Balkaholic I'm addicted to Balki Barokomous and Larry AppletonI'm surprised Perfect Strangers hasn't made a come back as a movie. Probably with that Borat actor guy as BalkiNot that it would be good movie but I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet
>>220461257Sometimes you just...get a feelin' like you sneed some kinda cha-a-ange.>>220460965Thanks for the tip. Snout puff? The poster below me is from Pathos.
>>220458170My Favorite Year might be Woody Allen-Lite movie but its still pretty good
>>220464729>Snout puff?you really know your perfect strangers lore. respect.
>>220458170In the later seasons (final season?), I really enjoyed the personality switch between the guys and their girls where the guys were on the receiving end of a scheme by their girls. Only a couple of episodes really explored this, but I feel like the show would've been better off leaning into that as it wound down.
The episode with the expensive wine they accidentally buy at auction has some really good physical comedy as they try not to break it
>>220464846Did they get married? I vaguely remember the Strangers buying a house together towards the end of the series.
>>220464871Larry and Balki were good comedic actors especially for a TGIF series (which were usually pretty cheesy)
>>220464898Yeah. It's been awhile, but I think it ended with everyone married with children. So, happy ending all around.
she was so hot
>>220464703>I'm surprised Perfect Strangers hasn't made a come back as a movie. Probably with that Borat actor guy as BalkiBe careful what you wish for
>>220465207That's The Odd Couple meets Sister, Sister. If you don't have Balki's fish out of water aspect it isn't Perfect Strangers. Also, fucking Brooklyn?
>>220465207oh dont be redicolos
>>220465207Doesn't sound like perfect strangers. Even if it was blacks it would have to be an American black plus his long lost cousin from Africa.
>>220466368its destined to fail when they cant even follow the formula
>>220458268This is the only ep I really remember because the guy didn't want to give up his tieCan't rewatch any episodes though, it's just too "of its era" in terms of the comedy. Balki's whole character is just corny today
>>220458170>hey should we spend more time on the guys name? >Isn't he from the Balkans?>15 minutes of deep thought later>WE WILL CALL HIM BALKIE LMAO
>>220466662>>WE WILL CALL HIM BALKIE LMAOi found out that the actor was the one who named the character, and he based it off the name of his girlfriends dog or something
>>220466662when i used to watch it as a kid i thought he was an alien and mepos or whatever it is was a planet
>>220467513when I was a kid I thought his country was called Meatballs.
>>220467513He was cast in Meego, an Alf clone in 1997 where he was the alien iirc. Cancelled after 13 episodes
STANDING TALL
>>220461257IT'S MY LIFEMY DREAMNOTHING'S GONNA STOP ME NOW[*flute solo*]
mark linn baker was cute. RIP
>>220458417Reminder, Family Matters was a spinoff of Perfect Strangers. Harriet worked in Larry's office.

>>220461257im gonna be completely honest. this theme song makes me believe i can achieve anything in life
>>220469179Family Matters was more popular than Perfect Strangers but it wasn't as good o f a show>>220469281I never got the point of ties that just end horizontally like that. They always look better when they come to a point
