Not seen a kevin smith movie in well over a decade now, think id probably struggle these days with the bits of this that dont have Matt damon and Affleck in them, but i always thought despite the cringe dollups he could write good dialog and blended the serious bits and the comedy well to tell the story.

Like all his films post Clerks your sort of living in this world where he has great actors pop up along with this scintillating dialog... but does it always hold up? well they always have their foibles/cringe but Dogma probably made best use of the talent he had, i probably should do a re-watch. I remember the concept actually of JaSBsb being quite funny for the time and having a great cast, the plot about them getting trolled on the internet and this plan to kick the ass of the trolls and stop their movie getting made, id forgot this was made in 2001.

Dogma was a piece of shit. The theological elements were poorly thought out fat kid bullshit.
