My mom is making me watch A Discovery of Witches and it's terrible. You can tell that every single writer on the show is a woman, that the source material was written by a woman, there's random niggers in 1500s London, every conflict gets solved within minutes of being introduced (they don't even wait until the next episode and do a cliffhanger, or even exposition at the start of an episode. Nope, every problem is immediately solved by Mary Sue randomly discovering she has a new ability.) Fuck I hate vampire shows. And niggers.

Byzantium was pretty good. The Hunger is good too and very 80's style in music and aesthetics if you go for that. A lot of good movies so far in this thread.
30 days was cool for how brutal they were and their ancient language. You could believe they were a clan that had survived a long time.
