did it really need a remake?

Its the one where Travolta gets really smart for me. Only remember the bullfight and some dance in a bar as a kid when it came on the radio.

They made a Michael Bolton biopic?

Face/Off is kino and Broken Arrow is pretty decent 90's action.
Never saw White Man's Burden but it sounds hilarious.
>The story takes place in alternative America where the blacks are members of social elite, and whites are inhabitants of inner city ghettos. Louis Pinnock is a struggling white worker in a chocolate factory, loving husband and father of two children. While delivering a package for black CEO Thaddeus Thomas, he is mistaken for a voyeur and, as a result, loses his job, gets beaten by black cops and his family gets evicted from their home. Desperate, Pinnock takes a deadly weapon and kidnaps Thomas, demanding justice, but the fight he will have to finish will cost him more than his job was ever worth.

That sounds so fucking stupid. I hate the whole "but what if it was the other way around?" thing in films. If things could be the other way around, they would be. It's like a short film I saw years ago where the whole world was gay and straight people were treated as the freaks, given slurs like "breeder" and shit, the film even has to have a special mention of "except for the breeding season" and of course it reframes the world where women are dominant in society and God is a woman in the bible.

All that bullshit aside, Mad City probably does "John Travolta snaps and demands justice" better.
