Is it possible to have an actually good videogame adaptation?
yeah its called mortal kombat (1995)
yeah its called street fighter (1995)
yeah its called tomb raider (2001)
yeah its called house of the dead (1995)
>>220482749Why do you want one? Just play the game.
yeah its called final fantasy spirits within (2001)
>>220482842Playing games after 18 is cringe.
>>220482802Yes>>220482820No>>220482871Not an adaptation
>>220482749Yes although it hasn't been done yet.Tomb Raider would make a good film if they adapted it reasonably faithfully. (What they did wasn't terrible but it wasn't good.)
>>220483032I doubt it.
The Max Payne movie is awful. Romeo Is Bleeding influenced the Max Payne game and the movie is a bit hard to follow, you have to pay attention to what’s happening in the movie more than you’d expect.https://youtu.be/-CRmRZtyqYc
TLOU S1 was good. S2 had immense potential (TLOU2 is arguably the best game ever made) but they completely fucked it up, totally unforgivable.Arcane, if it counts as an adaptation.I didn't see the Sonic, Pokemon, or Mario movies but I hear they're decent for what they are.
>>220482749Hannah is perfect
Looks better than the game version.
>>220486295heres a pic of the game version for reference
>>220486331Roasted, toasted, and burned to a crisp.
>>220482749Yes by basing it off and extending lore. Direct remakes of the happenings in a game will never make people happy
>>220486240I whish she was my friend.
>>220482749Sure, you just need to start with a game that doesn't have a lot of "lore."
John Wick is basically a video game movie. Just swap out John for Duke Nukem and make it a comedy.
>>220486295Well developers thought she was too refined and pretty to be a warrior so she uglified her model.
