it's too up its own ass. half the jokes are just meta/4th wall breaks that get old quick and the rest is outdated humor that stopped being funny in 2017, like stuff where the punchline is "woah this character that shouldn't even know what Wi-fi IS is asking for the Wi-fi password!". American Dad mogs it in every conceivable way, it's still funny as fuck and well written whereas family guy just feels like they're trying to fill time as much as possible.

Family Guy is such a weird shows. The individual bits can be actual god tier, but then the writing for the main plots are absolute garbage slop.

I still watch it regularly. If you pay close attention you’ll see even a cartoon has DEI and almost every crowd scene has a mixture of black people in the group.

I work at a hotel at nights and this cute emo girl was checking in. You could tell she was very drunk because she was slurring her words a lot(I work downtown so it’s not uncommon to get drunk people at night) but she kept asking me if we had family guy on the tv and I said probably, there’s FXX and Adult Swim. And she kept telling me how finding family guy on a hotel tv was like pulling a ray gun in cod zombies(dunno what she meant by that) but she hung around for like 15 minutes talking about family guy then went to her room
