It seems to be the common consensus that Better Call Saul is the superior show to Breaking Bad.I don't get it. The way I see it, it's the prime example of why you don't make a show on a popular supporting character.

Everything from the camera work, to the writing, the acting, everything is just a bit better on the whole than BB. The thing is that BB is still subjectively the better show because it has a more intresting main story the entire time. BCS was more intresting when suck and fuck was there, but after he died, the cartel and chicken man shit couldn't keep up the quality. It just kinda got boring up until the very end

>>220494036The Sandpiper and Chuck arcs of BCS are great. The cartel arc just feels out of place and a waste of time. The half season dedicated to germans digging a hole was painful to sit though. Lalo's whole psychic ninja thing is stupid too. I like the Gene stuff, but the actor swap for Jeff between his initial appearance and Nippy kind of ruins that whole part.
I thought Breaking Bad was boring and overrated so I never watched Better Call Saul.

Mike was similar, he only existed because Bob Odenkirk was too busy with HIMYM to appear in the episode dealing with the fallout from Jane's death, then he became a main character after that.

I liked Better Call Saul but I really think that it should be one season shorter at the least.It’s the same amount of episodes as breaking bad but with a lot less happening.I think if cut a season worth of episodes out of BCS it would be a huge improvement
